Donald Trump attempted to turn up the heat on fellow Republican Tom Cotton in the fight to change daylight saving time, even giving out what appeared to be the Arkansas senator's personal cell phone number. The President spent much of Saturday speaking out in favor of The Sunshine Protection Act, which would make daylight saving time permanent. The bill passed the House in July but faces roadblocks among Republicans, including Cotton, who is strongly opposed. 'For some reason, Tom is stopping the Bill and, in the Senate, it´s very easy to do, it only takes one!' Trump wrote on social...

"My Word . . . shall not return to Me . . . without accomplishing what I desire" (Isa. 55:11). "Man does not live by bread alone, but . . . by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord" (Deut. 8:3). God’s Word is both productive and nourishing. The Bible contains many precious promises, two of which relate specifically to itself. First, the prophet Isaiah said that the Word is productive: "As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth, and making it bear and sprout, and...

"The lieutenant governor [Peggy Flanagan], even as we sit here today, continues to take absolutely no accountability for any of the fraud issues, and she continues to blame the governor. And I'm going to be honest: It's p---ing me off." The above quote is not from a Republican, but from Democratic Rep. Angie Craig in July when she was running in the Minnesota Senate primary against Peggy Flanagan. While harsh words are often lightly thrown in primary battles, in this case, one must ask: Where is the lie? While Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and Colorado’s House candidate Milot...

Millions of Brazilians will vote Sunday in an election dominated by two rivals: incumbent President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Sen. If no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote, the top two advance to a runoff Oct. 25. Lula, who at 80 is one of the world’s...

Tom Cotton in a series of posts on Saturday, accusing the Arkansas Republican of holding up a bill that would make Daylight Saving Time permanent and encouraging people to call the senator at his cellphone number. “Everybody in Arkansas, Tom Cotton, a friend of mine, is holding up a very important Bill. It’s called, ‘The Sunshine Protection Act’ or, ‘We Don’t Want to Change Our Clocks Twice a Year Act,’” Trump posted on Truth Social. “To the Great People of Arkansas, please let your Senator know it would be a GREAT Bipartisan WIN for...

After a few days campaigning in safe conservative territory, President Donald Trump on Saturday takes his midterm tour into Ohio, a battleground state that’s home to one of the top-tier Senate races this cycle. Trump has embarked on what he says will be a 32-day blitz ahead of the Nov. 3 elections, hitting the deep red states of Texas, Oklahoma and Alabama this week. Saturday's rally is just outside Dayton, Ohio, where he'll stump for key candidates in competitive races for the House, Senate and the governor’s mansion in Columbus. Perhaps the most pivotal of these races is the Senate...

Also composed as an interactive 360 degree VR, the mosaicked panorama combines 61 exposures taken by the small car-sized rover's Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI). Frames containing the imager's arm have been edited out while the extended background used was taken by the rover's Mastcam...

Andy Burnham’s personal preference to rejoin the European Union after the next election is supported by almost half of all voters, a new megapoll has found, although cabinet ministers concerned about reopening Brexit divides are privately urging him to proceed with caution. The poll by the Messina Group (TMG) found that renegotiating the UK’s relationship with the EU could boost Labour’s vote share by as much as seven points, if the prime minister offered a fresh referendum in which he campaigned to re-enter the bloc. Almost a third of voters said an in-out referendum would be needed first, while more...

A South Carolina restaurant is facing backlash after the owner falsely accused a Black couple of refusing to pay for their meal. In a now-viral video, Christopher Phillip Wallman Jr., owner of The Grill, a restaurant in Manning, South Carolina, announced his false accusation to all of his customers in an apparent attempt to embarrass the couple. “I want everybody to hear this now. This lovely couple has ordered $137 of food that they’re refusing to pay," Wallman said. The couple shut down the allegation, saying they were only asking that the fried pork chops they sent back to the...

In the online show, Mr Carlson claimed Britain 'destroyed their empire and their country fighting this war that they still pretend was a good idea but it wasn't'. The former Fox News presenter – who once described Darryl Cooper, a Holocaust denier, as...
