dubbed the “stop nick shirley act” by critics, california’s ab2624 has passed through the state assembly — a necessary protection from doxxing? or a middle finger to the first amendment? Our story begins at the epicenter of almost all affronts to Constitutional rights / basic decency / shit-free sidewalks: the state of California, where Gavin Newsom and his henchmen of union mouthpieces in Sacramento sensed trouble was afoot. A young, ragged, hoodie-donning agitator by the name of Nick Shirley, armed with an iPhone camera and a healthy distrust of government officials, had just completed a trip to Minnesota, during which our...

Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters commander warned residents of northern Israel to leave the area if Israel carries out threatened attacks on Beirut, in response to an earlier Israeli military evacuation warning for residents of areas in Beirut. "Given Israel's repeated violations of the ceasefire, if this threat is carried out, we warn residents of northern areas and military settlements in Israel to leave the area if they do not want to be harmed," Ali Abdollahi said.

Enough already with these “negotiations” with people that have no intention of keeping their word or of negotiating in good faith about anything. These folks should not be allowed to control the passage through which roughly twenty percent of the world’s oil supply is delivered. It is in the entire world’s security interest to take control of the Strait of Hormuz from the nut jobs in Iran currently in charge. Establishment of a military presence large enough to sustain complete control of the Strait should be the immediate goal along with removal of whatever nuclear threat Iran possesses.

Each and every update about the Democratic Senate candidate in Maine somehow makes the guy seem even worse. Over the weekend, The New York Times and Wall Street Journal released verified investigative reports that Graham Platner was sexting between six and twelve women, despite being newly married. After this revelation, Platner and his wife addressed the media and said this was just gossip that is distracting people from things that matter. Unfortunately for Platner, his attempts at damage control are getting harder by the moment. We now have evidence that he created a raunchy profile on Kik, a social messaging...

The President of the United States is mentally ill, but everybody knows that. So while we should continue to focus on this degeneration taking place in front of our eyes, we should also, beyond that, ask what we can do about the powers, the interests, the system that put this horrifying person in a position of power. (snip) Obviously, we need to defang Trump as much as possible and make sure that neither he nor anybody who follows in his footsteps has power after the next two elections. But beyond that, we really need to do a thorough purging of...

The Atlanta train passenger who was slaughtered in a shocking daylight weekend attack was reportedly stabbed nearly two dozen times in what cops are calling a horrific random assault. The unwitting passenger, sitting alone, began screaming and trying to escape as the violent brute allegedly held her down and stabbed her 18 to 20 times in an...

Ready for a ride on the highway to Hel? The infamous 'Route 666' bus service to the Polish seaside resort is being resurrected by Flixbus – three years after it was renumbered due to pressure from religious groups. The 13-hour route links Kraków and Hel, with stops in major Polish hubs like Władysławowo, Kuźnica and the capital, Warsaw. The route gets its name from a mix of its destination, Hel (similar to the English word 'hell'), and bus number 666, the biblical number of the beast. Although the service ran for over a decade, the number was ultimately retired and...

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has submitted an official letter of resignation to the Office of the Supreme Leader, a source familiar with the matter told Iran International. In the letter sent on Sunday, Pezeshkian stressed that the president and the government have effectively been excluded from major and vital decision-making processes in the country, and that the vacuum created by this situation has enabled hardline factions within the IRGC to take control of affairs, the source said. Pezeshkian added that under such circumstances he is unable to run the government and carry out his legal responsibilities, and for that reason...

If you’ve ever been to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., you’ll know it’s a majestic site, with the 19-foot-tall Georgia white marble statue of Honest Abe overlooking the Reflecting Pool and then further off, the Washington Monument and the U.S. Capitol.Something you presumably didn’t see on your visit, however, is a massive 50,000-square-foot foundation built to keep the whole thing from sinking into the swamps of D.C. It’s called the Undercroft, and it’s been a tightly held secret for decades. In June, the Department of the Interior will invite the public to see the hidden vault, Secretary Doug Burgum announced...

Iran has damaged 20 US military sites since the start of the war, satellite images and videos analysed by BBC Verify show, suggesting the attacks are more extensive than publicly acknowledged. Iran has targeted key facilities across eight countries in the Middle East since the end of February, causing millions of dollars of damage to state-of the-art air defence systems, refuelling aircraft and radars. Tehran has targeted both US bases and shared military facilities in retaliation to the US-Israeli strikes across Iran and Lebanon over the past three months. The Pentagon says it has hit more than 13,000 targets in...
