Among the arguments of those who seem to be pushing for expanded war with the Russian Federation, one of the strangest is that Russia is a weak, third-world country and a “paper tiger.” Those who make this argument point to the protracted three-year conflict in Ukraine and scoff at the Russians’ inability to subjugate a much weaker adversary. These same voices usually ignore America’s ten-year war in Iraq and twenty-year war in Afghanistan, even though both wars cost Americans much and accomplished far fewer strategic objectives than Americans were promised. Russia has chosen to execute a war of attrition that...

When I began a career of digging into the Left’s shadowy financiers, conservatives were losing the “dark money” war. Less than a decade later, it’s the Left facing extinction — and no one’s more astonished by the turnaround than I am.In August, news came that the Gates Foundation — one of the world’s largest mega-funders of “progressive” political schemes — was quietly defunding Arabella Advisors, the dark money ATM that’s benefitted from over half a billion dollars from Gates since 2009. Armed with billions, the Arabella network exploits our nonprofit charity laws to agitate for D.C. statehood, pack the Supreme...

The readings for this Sunday’s Mass richly describe some essential qualities of faith and living in this world as a Christian. There are five fundamentals that can be seen: Wanting – The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith” (Luke 17:5-6). There’s an old saying that what you want, you get. Many doubt this, thinking that they have wanted many things that they did not get. The reason for this, however, is usually because they didn’t want it enough. When we really want something (provided it is not an impossibility) we usually get it, because we have a passion...

I wanted to let everyone know that the State of California is using some legal means to take money from bank accounts with no notice whatsoever. This just happened to me through Wells Fargo and I will be dealing with the matter after the weekend when their offices are open. Does anyone have experience with this? I lived in California over 10 years ago but I have no idea what this can possible be for.

"More protection is needed, faster implementation of all defense agreements, especially regarding air defense, to make this aerial terror meaningless," he added. "A unilateral ceasefire in the sky is possible, and it could open the way...

The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you people say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the...

The Board of Deputies of British Jews condemned comments by Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli, who announced his intention to host right-wing activist Tommy Robinson in Israel later this month. According to the Board, “Tommy Robinson is a bully representing the worst of Britain. His presence undermines the sincere efforts of those genuinely working to combat Islamic extremism and foster community cohesion.” “The minister has proven that he is a ‘Diaspora Minister’ in name only—not in his actions. In this dark hour, he chose to ignore the views of the overwhelming majority of British Jews, who consistently and unequivocally reject...

The Anglican Church is poised to lose tens of millions of members across Africa and Asia following the appointment of Sarah Mullally, 63, as the first woman Archbishop of Canterbury and leader of the Anglican Church. Her appointment comes months after her predecessor, Justin Welby, resigned over his failure to deal with and report sexual abuse in the church. Far from a conservative, Mullally is a self-described feminist and has passionately fought for women’s ordination across the church. She is pro-choice and has been working to move the church in favor of same-sex acceptance and inclusivity. The Global Fellowship of...

In the email, officials said Thunberg has complained of dehydration, claiming she hasn’t been given enough food or water. “She also stated that she had developed rashes, which she suspects were caused by bedbugs,” the email said. “She spoke of harsh treatment and said she had...

Former Missouri congresswoman Cori Bush, a prominent member of the progressive “Squad” and known for her anti-Israel stance, declared her intention to run again for Congress on Friday, JNS reported. “Right now, we are in the fight of our lives. It isn’t politics as usual, and we can’t afford to operate as such,” Bush said. “This is about survival for our families, and the moment is now.” Bush lost her seat in the Democratic primary last year to Rep. Wesley Bell, a fellow progressive with pro-Israel backing, who went on to win the general election. Reports indicated that pro-Israel lobbying...
