@KemiBadenoch

My message is clear: if you’re here illegally, you will be detained and deported.

Our new Removals Force, modelled on US ICE, will deport 150,000 illegal migrants each year.

Wow that's interesting. She's trying to out-do Farage.

If I were a voter in the UK, I would be thinking, what took you so long and are you serious.

Given the recent past, the Tories have completely failed to carry out their agenda, they did nothing about mass immigration or the green new deal.

You’re right to be cynical and the voters will feel that way

She’s well down in the polls..

Here’s the potential problem with the Tories, if they manage to draw a couple extra percentage points away from Reform and Nigel Farage it might be enough to allow Labour to remain in power.

Just like Mamdani in NYC, he’s going to win because the opposition is splitting up the vote enough to allow Mamdani to win.

You’re right to be concerned in the parliamentary system with first past the post (like for US House but think 3-4 parties)

Farage could be denied an overall majority. It will be down to the voting quirks on Election Day (whenever it’s held)

The way it will work will come down to the quirks of first past the post in a multi party system!

😬😬😬

It’s not ideal....

Farage might win more elsewhere to offset the ones where a Tory somewhere else is going to retain the seat

They’re banking on this I feel and they call it the “Red Wall” (opposite color for you) it’s how Boris Johnson won a majority in 2019.

Northern working class and traditionally Labor voters who cross over, perhaps for the first time in their lives.

Farage has a similar appeal to them as Boris did though as you pointed out before Boris squandered that majority and trust fairly quickly .

150,000 is not nearly enough.

Words are cheap. If I may, i would urge whatever persons that agree with her to gather, put quill to parchment and write something. America once had a visionary modern leader named Newt Gringrich that offered a contract to our citizens. It worked magic. At this late stage something a tad radical is needed, and words sure aren’t sufficient.

If only they could be trusted to actually mean what they’re saying here and follow through if they were ever put back in office. But they can’t be trusted. At all. Nobody should ever vote for them again. Let the extinction of the Tory party serve as an object lesson to elites everywhere about what eventually happens if you betray your own voters often enough.

You’re on fire today another good post and how people and voters will feel about it.

That’s why Reform are at >35% in the polls

BUT she is the official opposition so it’s interesting to see.
