Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father God, You are the Almighty, the only True and Living God. We humbly come before You in praise and adoration. We thank You for calling us by name, for inviting us to love and to serve You. You are righteous and perfect, the only wise and just King.
Lord, we lift up our representatives in all levels of government. They are called to be good stewards of our tax money, yet many are corrupted and self serving. They do not stay within a budget. They do not try to conserve. They are not motivated to lower taxes.
Lord, we pray for these corrupted representatives. We pray that they will no longer be as the Romans, crushing Your people with taxes. We pray that they will seek wisdom and decide to be better stewards, lest they condemn themselves.
Better is a little with righteousness, than vast revenues without justice.
Proverbs 16:8

Amen to your prayer. Money mishandling by unruly politicians is a huge problem. May that be broken and brought into proper alignment in Jesus Name.
