Jewish Russian farming billionaire Vadim Moshkovich has been remanded in custody for two months by a Moscow court following his detention on suspicion of large-scale fraud, the highest-profile arrest in years of a major businessman in Russia. Moshkovich, who Forbes says has a fortune of $2.7 billion, appeared in a glass cage in Moscow’s Meshchansky court, handcuffed and carrying a copy of David Eagleman’s book “The Brain” and a bottle of water. Court documents show that Moshkovich is accused of large-scale fraud and could face up to 10 years in jail if convicted. Moshkovich pleaded not guilty to the charges....

In huge news for those wanting to see DOGE take an axe to the various forms of federal spending-enabled fraud engaged in by the sorts of Swamp businesses that are much despised by normal Americans, DOGE has announced that it is turning its sights on the sort of contractors and consultants who have leeched billions of dollars out of federal spending programs. Amongst those financial leeches who will be hardest hit by the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in its efficiency push are those consulting firms that have taken in billions of taxpayer dollars without justifying why they...

    Archaeology Magazine ^ | March 24, 2025 | editors / unattributed / Live Science
According to a Live Science report, European hunter-gatherers traversed the Mediterranean Sea in primitive boats and visited North Africa much earlier than previously thought. A new study sequenced the DNA from nine individuals who lived in modern-day Algeria and Tunisia between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago. The surprising results revealed that some of them may have been descended from Mesolithic Europeans. The genome of one particular man buried at the site of Djebba in Tunisia indicated that at least six percent of his DNA could be traced back to European hunter-gatherers. These results suggest that the individual's local ancestors mixed...

On top of the tariffs on Mexico and Canada set to go into effect at the end of the month the Trump administration is also planning on invoking reciprocal tariffs on all countries. This is in an effort to level the playing field for the U.S. in global trade but what does it mean for agriculture? Dan Basse, president of Ag Resource Company, says these tariffs are different than those that were imposed during the first Trump administration or even recently with the 10% increase on China imports. He says trade officials will go through with each trading partner and...

Since the last auto-update of my Firefox browser, emails that contain forwarding URL, those URL will not execute. For example, I get a daily trivia question. When I click on the link to answer the quiz, Firefox locks up. The same happens with a Facebook link. If I use a different browser (e.g., Opera), the links work fine. I've tried to notify Firefox, but getting a link for them is a bad joke. Has anyone else experienced this?

President Donald Trump on Wednesday night endorsed Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) for reelection, applauding the lawmaker as “a wonderful friend.” Graham has served in the Senate for more than two decades. The veteran lawmaker is due for reelection again in 2026 when he seeks a fifth Senate term although he is widely expected to face a primary challenge from within the Republican Party. “Senator Lindsey Graham is working incredibly hard for the Great People of South Carolina, a State I love and WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024!” Trump declared in a Truth Social post, setting out his support...

VIDEOLook at the demonic glee with which this Satanic Sleeze of indeterminate gender gouges a Tesla with a key. In addition, She/He/It was so proud of the dirty deed that She/He/It even recorded it while committing this act of terrorism. Since the ugly face of this monster with Halloween eyebrows can be clearly seen on the Tesla camera it shouldn't be too hard to track down She/He/It. In this case the MINIMAL sentence must go beyond a mere tap on the wrist and payment for damages. Justice demands a MINIMAL sentence of buying a Brand New Tesla for the victim...

Judge Boasberg blocks Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport Tren de Aragua, despite intelligence linking the gang to Venezuela’s government and acts of sabotage in the U.S. As President Trump fulfills his campaign promise to deport criminal illegal aliens, a blatantly corrupt judge is trying to stop him. Judge James Boasberg, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, has abandoned all pretense to fairness. I will leave it to others to focus on his conflicts of interest (the FISA Court, his wife, his daughter) and his double standard of justice. This article...

The vessel became famous as a McDonald's restaurant during the 1986 World Expo and hasn't been used since thenThe iconic "McBarge" vessel, which housed a McDonald's restaurant during Expo 86 in Vancouver, was on its side and capsized in the Fraser River on Wednesday. The McBarge is a 57-metre-long barge that became iconic after being moored in False Creek during the world exposition in 1986 near other Expo icons like B.C. Place and Science World. But since its stint as a McDonald's restaurant, the barge — officially known as the Friendship 500 — has never seen visitors. It has been...

The nation's largest shopping mall owner said it's leaving Delaware as its state of incorporation, citing concerns of increasingly woke behavior by courts. Simon Property Group, an S&P 500 company valued at $60 billion, last week said it could no longer rely on Delaware courts, which now allow for "meritless litigation" and "judicial interpretation without a clear statutory bias," Law.com reported. The move mirrors Elon Musk's decision last year to move multiple companies, including Tesla and SpaceX, out of Delaware. Delaware was once the gold standard for its corporate legal system. But major corporations have joined Musk in his warnings...

The numbers: Some 224,000 people who lost their jobs applied last week for unemployment benefits, a very low number that suggests the U.S. labor market is still in good shape even as trade wars reverberate through the economy. Initial jobless claims excluding federal workers fell by 1,000 to 224,000 in the seven days that ended March 22, the government said.

It's a great day for America, everybody. Yes, the FBI just arrested a leader of MS-13 in Northern Virginia, outside of Washington D.C. From Fox: Authorities have yet to release the suspect's name, but they say he is one of the top three leaders of the MS-13 gang in the U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel monitored the arrest as it took place Thursday morning. While the FBI gets credit for the arrest, ICE, ATF, and local police were all involved in the operation to run-in the foreign gangbanger. Trump credited Border Czar Tom Homan for...

There's a special House election coming up on April 1 to fill the seat left vacant when Rep. Mike Waltz resigned from Congress to serve as national security advisor to Donald Trump. Democrats are pulling out all the stops, hoping to catch lightning in a bottle and steal a seat in a district that gave Donald Trump a 30-point margin of victory. Trump's handpicked successor to Waltz is Republican State Sen. Randy Fine (R-19th District). His opponent is math teacher Josh Weil. Weil has reportedly raised $10 million for the race, with the state Democrats vowing to raise another $5...
