Trump Endorses ‘Wonderful Friend’ Sen. Lindsey Graham for Reelection
Breitbart ^ | 03/27/2025 | Simon Kent

President Donald Trump on Wednesday night endorsed Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) for reelection, applauding the lawmaker as “a wonderful friend.”

Graham has served in the Senate for more than two decades.

The veteran lawmaker is due for reelection again in 2026 when he seeks a fifth Senate term although he is widely expected to face a primary challenge from within the Republican Party.

“Senator Lindsey Graham is working incredibly hard for the Great People of South Carolina, a State I love and WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024!” Trump declared in a Truth Social post, setting out his support in full:

Lindsey has been a wonderful friend to me, and has always been there when I needed him. As the Chair of the Senate Budget Committee, Lindsey is fighting tirelessly to Grow the Economy, Lower Taxes, and Eliminate Government Waste. Lindsey is also relentlessly focused on helping us Secure the Border, Stop Migrant Crime, Strongly Support our Great Military/Vets, Promote American Energy DOMINANCE, Defend our always under siege Second Amendment, and ensure PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.

Senator Lindsey Graham has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. Everyone in South Carolina should help Lindsey have a BIG WIN next year!

Ugh, I hate this back scratching politics crap. In a perfect world there would be no endorsement, campaigning for someone, or outside the potential office territory money being gleaned. A candidate would actually have to stand on their platform and do their own campaigning.

Being the world class businessman that DJT is, I’m sure he secured something of value for his endorsement.

Graham is up for reelection in 2026 and will probably win easily.

He’s also a Senator that Trump needs to pass his agenda.(tax cuts, energy policy, DOGE, immigration, etc.)

I don’t give a flying. If Trump is for someone I’m voting for him. Just about everyone on this forum think they know better.

One politician endorsing another politician. Imagine that. :-)

Trump is savvy looks a few steps ahead and doesn’t see a specific challenger that would beat Graham so he endorses him.

I hope that Trump has a long rope tied around Lindsey’s testicles that he can tie to a speeding truck if Lindsey turns on Trump AGAIN.

That’s absurd in this situation and no, that’s not what he always does, or even often.

He would be supporting the person running against graham if that’s who he wanted to win.

He has his reasons for wanting Graham to win.

There’s worse than Graham.

And attributing God-like powers to always be right to a human is a bad move ALWAYS.

He’s a great POTUS..no one is looking for 100 percent or silly testaments.

Graham has no principles and will turn on Trump before you can say ‘boiled peanuts’.

One of his few mistakes, we could get rid of this Rino & war hawk. I can’t stomach him. It’s a mistake that he will regret. He thought Trump insited the interaction on Jan 6th. I still Think he best President ever but a big mistake. You are rewarding back stabbing

“I wish he’d had such sight in dealing with the black robed maniacs ruining this country...just sayin”

Read about Greg Nunziata, an attorney who now works for George Conway at a Soros funded NGO and was Chief Legal Counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee, working for Rubio and Thune, selecting and promoting judges for Trump to nominate during his first term. He is also active in the Federalist Society.

He is very anti-Trump. In his bio, he takes credit for Roberts nomination and approval as Supreme Court Justice.

Trump was snookered. I pray that Rubio and Thune are not also RINO’s like Nunziata.

I will leave it to president Trump to pick his friends. I know he has to play politics but he knows that too. I haven't heard anything from Mitch Mcturtle which isn't a bad thing
Let's just hope president Trump continues to be successful. Whatever he has to do to get his agenda passed.

Linda and Tim Scott. Two South Carolina “ moderates “.

Surely, that very conservative state can do better.
