CV NEWS FEED // A district judge in Oregon ruled September 30 that Oregon Right to Life is required to cover abortions in its employees’ healthcare insurance plan, dismissing the pro-life organization’s argument that it is a religious organization exempted from the pro-abortion law. U.S. District Judge Ann Aiken stated in her ruling that ORTL does not fit inside the category of “religious employer” under the state’s Reproductive Health Equity Act (RHEA), as it does not mainly or exclusively serve individuals of the same religion. “Plaintiff does not qualify as a ‘religious employer’ under the RHEA because ‘its purpose is...

Some were shocked to learn that Israel’s successful ‘Pagergeddon’ operation had been the work of a female intelligence operative under thirty. But they shouldn’t have been. Israel’s digital intelligence capabilities rely on the work of young women operating in arenas like Unit 8200 which monitors enemy communications, plants surveillance devices and puts together intel data to form a bigger picture, and Unit 414, the unarmed observers on the front line, many of whose members were killed and a number captured during the Hamas invasion on Oct 7. Women from 8200 and 414 had sounded early warning alerts about Hamas training...

CV NEWS FEED // The Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University has found that millions of religious people, most of whom are Christian, report that they will not vote in November’s election. The study relates that only 51% of “people of faith,” including Christians, Muslims, Jews, Mormons, and other religious groups, plan on voting. This means that approximately 104 million religious people will not vote. The study explained that of religious Americans, 83% are Christian. Among Christians, it is estimated that 46 million church-attending Protestants and 19 million church-attending Catholics will not participate in the election. Just the News...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the Lebanese people they face falling “into the abyss of a long war” as his country escalates its offensive against Hezbollah. “Christians, Druze, Muslims – Sunnis and Shiites alike – all of you are suffering because of Hezbollah’s futile war in Israel,” Netanyahu said in a video address to the Lebanese people on Tuesday. “You have an opportunity to save Lebanon before it falls into the abyss of a long war that will bring destruction and suffering similar to what we see in Gaza.” Lebanon is already seeing “the same patterns” and “methods of...

Ta-Nehisi appeared on NSNBC - Alex Wagner Tonight, Oct 9, 2024. He tells of his trip to Hebron (which is a hot place with frictions usually after a radical mosque sermon or an Arab terror attack). That a soldier asked him for his religion, when he replied he didn't have one, he asked him about his parents', when he replied that they were Christian, he let him pass. MSNBC's Wagner plays dumb and asks him a leading question, 'did you think this was racist?' He replied, oh yes. Obviously, he didn't want to get what asking about his religion has...

CV NEWSFEED // Congressman Chip Roy, R-TX, on Friday published an essay calling for the repeal of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. The Biden-Harris administration has used the FACE Act to prosecute dozens of pro-life Americans for demonstrating outside of abortion facilities. The FACE Act was signed into law in 1994 by Democratic President Bill Clinton and creates felony charges for anyone who, [by] force or threat of force or by physical obstruction, intentionally injures, intimidates or interferes with or attempts to injure, intimidate or interfere with any person because that person is or has been,...

Rapper and record producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been sued by a model who said he fathered an unborn child with her and then used an associate to pressure her to have an abortion. Amid ongoing allegations of sexual misconduct against the rapper, an unnamed woman has said that one of Combs’ associates told her to have an abortion after she became pregnant with his child. The woman said that the rapper drugged and assaulted her over a four-year period between 2020 and 2024, and that she became pregnant as a result of one of these encounters before suffering a...

CBS aired two different answers to the same question in its "60 Minutes" interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, replacing a clip from the Democratic nominee that aired on "Face the Nation" Sunday when the interview package aired in a primetime special on Monday. Harris was mocked by conservatives when footage of her offering a lengthy "word salad" that was aired by CBS on Sunday’s "Face the Nation" to promote the "60 Minutes" sit-down, when Bill Whitaker asked why it seemed like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wasn’t listening to the United States. However, the vice president’s lengthy answer didn’t...

Former Vice President Mike Pence is launching a $3 million ad blitz in swing states to slam economic proposals from Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris — including her multitrillion-dollar tax hike. Advancing American Freedom, a nonprofit conservative advocacy group founded by Pence, will run the digital ads in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Montana. His group also will distribute a “messaging memo” to Republican candidates competing in those states suggesting lines of political attack. The ad campaign will highlight the economic successes of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act signed into law by former President Donald Trump — and Harris’ plans...

We are on the mountaintop in Little Switzerland collecting airlifted donations and distributing them to homes that have no power or are inaccessible. The community is self organizing incredibly well Image This is the only federal government response I've seen so far. Almost all the pallets we have received are donations coming in from citizens and orgs. Feds usually don't come this far up into the mountains This has been the government donation: pallets of electric chainsaws to communities that have no power

Up until very few months ago, it was anathema in the West to openly discuss any outcome for the war in Ukraine that was not a complete Kiev victory, driving the Russian ‘hordes’ back to the national borders, with many even implying the 1991 borders – i.e. including the Crimean peninsula. But that was then, and now a different song is playing with relentless Russian advances – remember, that only in August and September, about 820 square kilometers (509 square miles) came under Russian control. Now, everyone – even in the Globalist MSM – feels free to discuss peace talks that include...

Naim Qassem, the most senior Hezbollah leader after the assassination of Nasrallah and his successor Safieddine, has called for an unconditional ceasefire, apparently not contingent on a cessation of fighting in Gaza. The former deputy to Hassan Nasrallah and member of Hezbollah’s Jihad Council announced on Tuesday night that the terror group was “agreeing to a ceasefire without preconditions. First, a ceasefire achieved through diplomatic means, and then we will discuss all the details.” Experts believe that the announcement was issued at the behest of Iran and was prompted by the terror proxy’s military weakness after repeated Israeli strikes and...

Over the weekend, the Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), General Michael Kurilla, arrived in Israel to “coordinate” with the Israeli military and plan a military strike against Iran. Think about that for a moment: one of the highest-ranking officers in the US military is planning a war in a foreign country against another foreign country which will be fueled by American weapons, American intelligence, and American tax dollars. Did that foreign country – Iran – attack the United States or threaten Americans? No, it did not. What did Iran do to warrant a CENTCOM commander bringing the weight...

The Abandon Harris campaign announced on Monday that it is backing the Green Party’s presidential ticket of Dr. Jill Stein and Dr. Butch Ware. The announcement coincided with the first anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attacks against Israel. The group announced its endorsement in a statement, calling on the Muslim-American community and “all those who stand firmly against genocide” to support the Green Party ticket. While the group said it does not view voting as a standalone solution, it regards the act as a “critical element” in resisting injustice and a tool that must be wielded “ethically.” “A vote...
