"Mayors should not be allowed to launder animus through warrants," the former city council member's lawyer told the justices.Sylvia Gonzalez, a former Castle Hills, Texas, city council member, plausibly alleges that she was driven from public life by a trumped-up, politically motivated arrest aimed at punishing her for engaging in advocacy protected by the First Amendment. On Wednesday, the U.S. Supreme Court considered what sort of "objective evidence" she needs to prove that claim. The case, Gonzalez v. Trevino, hinges on how to read the Court's 2019 decision in Nieves v. Bartlett, which added "a narrow qualification" to the general...

Canada ranked last in access to primary health care in a survey of 10 high-income countries released by the Canadian Institute for Health Information on Thursday. Eighty-six per cent of Canadians aged 18 and older said they had a doctor or a place they usually go for medical care in the 2023 survey by the Commonwealth Fund. That's down from 93 per cent of those surveyed in 2016 — and means that an estimated four million Canadian adults did not have access to primary care last year, the study said. The percentage of people who had access to primary care...

Former Joe Biden Press Secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki complained popular independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a “problem” for Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign. Fellow MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski asked Psaki what RFK Jr. is doing by running for president, and the ex-press secretary joked that she doesn’t want to get into his mind because he “doesn’t believe in science.”Psaki pointed out Donald Trump’s base is loyal and will not vote for anyone else before noting third-party candidates “are a huge, huge, huge problem,” for Biden. “If you look at RFK Jr., it’s the name recognition...

It is not reported whether UMPC control modules will be installed on them. The Russians began mass production of three-ton FAB-3000 aerial bombs . This was reported to the Russian Ministry of Defense following the results of Minister Sergei Shoigu’s trip to the enterprises of the military-industrial complex in the Nizhny Novgorod region. “Sergei Shoigu was informed that mass production of FAB-3000 has been organized at the enterprise since February of this year,” the Russian department said in a statement.

One of the most common questions in Christianity is, did Judas go to Heaven or Hell? There are clear indications from Scripture that Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus is burning in Hell right now. He was never saved and even though he was remorseful before he committed suicide he never repented. God didn’t make Judas Iscariot betray Jesus, but he knew he was going to do it. Remember there are some Christians who aren’t really Christians and there are pastors who just use God’s name for money and I believe Judas used God’s name for money. Once you become a...

President Biden wandered off stage at an Arizona campaign event after he was distracted by a young baby their young mom. The president, 81, made a beeline for the youngster while his campaign manager introduced him at a Mexican diner in Phoenix on Tuesday. 'Well folks, I have to tell you straight up... I like you all, but I couldn't resist that baby,' he told the audience, which appeared to be only a few dozen people.

Bryan Malinowski, who was involved in a shootout with federal agents Tuesday, was also involved in a legal fight with a neighbor over the placement of a mailbox, claiming it was placed illegally on his property. A judge would go on to side with Malinowski’s neighbor, years before the 53-year-old director of Little Rock's Clinton National Airport was involved in the Tuesday shooting with agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. In August 2018, Malinowski sued Eric and Victoria Pinter, who lived next to a property he owned. He said the year before they “without consultation or...

During a segment on the political sentiments of Black voters in Georgia, a reporter was shocked when a couple who were formerly Democrats declared that they are now going to vote for Donald Trump. CBS News correspondent Nikole Killion was clearly horrified when Azad Ahmadi and his girlfriend, who had both previously voted for Obama, and were registered Democrats, announced they have both switched allegiances. While Mr Ahmadi said he voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020, Alexandria announced that she had voted for Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, before declaring that Trump will get her vote this time around....

It is obviously un-American for the government to develop a ‘hit list’ of citizens to mute in the public square through secret pressure on communications monopolies. The Biden administration attempted to distract the Supreme Court from the voluminous evidence of federal abuse of Americans’ speech rights during oral arguments in Murthy v. Missouri Monday. It sounded like several justices followed the feds’ waving red flag.“The government may not use coercive threats to suppress speech, but it is entitled to speak for itself by informing, persuading, or criticizing private speakers,” said Biden administration lawyer Brian Fletcher in his opening remarks. He...

Bible prophecy is under siege today; it’s become the target of much abuse from both fellow believers and those outside of Christ. Jan Markell’s article on Harbinger’s Dailly, We Are Under Siege Like Never Before, aptly sums up the increasing intensity of attacks on our belief in the pre-Tribulation Rapture, which often overflow to those of us who cherish this hope. Over the past few years, I have noticed an underlying current in teachings that deny what the Bible says about the Rapture, the seven-year Tribulation, and Jesus’ thousand-year reign. They greatly diminish the magnificence of Jesus’ role in end...

At the root of the word antisemitism is the word “Semite,” and the Semites were the descendants of Shem, one of Noah’s three sons. Genesis 6:10 tells us, “And Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.” The Semites were the ancestors of both the Jews and the Arabs. If someone is of Semitic descent, it means that they have either Jewish or Arab lineage. It is worth to note that when the word is used as the compound word, “antisemitic,” it never includes the Arabs but just the Jews. The definition that I have arrived at,...

Daniel 12:8 KJV – “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?” The prophet Daniel had been listening intently to the angel Gabriel pronouncing a series of mind-blowing messages. God was revealing the rise and fall of great empires, leading eventually to a global empire led by a despot whom the Apostle John would later call the Antichrist, with its inevitable demise at the divine hand of God. Of course, all these great empires were still so far off in the future, from Daniel’s perspective, that he...

In an effort to humanize the victims of abortion in the minds of young people, lawmakers in Tennessee, West Virginia, Iowa, and beyond are following in the footsteps of North Dakota with legislation to show high-quality video of unborn babies to children in government schools. Naturally, the abortion lobby is up in arms. Last week, the Tennessee House of Representatives passed the “Baby Olivia Act” requiring public schools to show videos of babies developing in the womb prior to birth. Earlier this month, the West Virginia Senate did as well. And similar legislation has already moved through a key committee...

Alternate headline: 19 Senate Democrats Endorse Terrorism As Legitimate Exercise of Politics. How else to describe a memo signed by almost half of the Senate Democrat caucus calling on Joe Biden to be "bold" and unilaterally declare an intent to recognize Palestine as a sovereign state as a direct result of the war Hamas started on October 7?And while Hamas still holds Americans hostage in Gaza, no less. Shouldn't Senate Democrats start with demands for their release?Nineteen Democratic senators led by Tom Carper, a longtime ally of Biden from his home state of Delaware, wrote that the Middle East crisis...

Google was the chief promulgator of the Donald Trump "bloodbath" hoax over the weekend, flooding its search results with articles that deceptively framed the former president's comment. Trump predicted that re-electing Joe Biden would stir an economic "bloodbath," while specifically referencing the automotive industry at a rally last weekend. Yet nearly every headline Google generated on the topic led users to an article skimping over the context, suggesting Trump warned of his plans to provoke a civil war. Google understands it can no longer lead users to such deceptive headlines. Most Americans know what Trump said by now. Therefore, Google...
