One of the most common questions in Christianity is, did Judas go to Heaven or Hell? There are clear indications from Scripture that Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus is burning in Hell right now. He was never saved and even though he was remorseful before he committed suicide he never repented.
God didn’t make Judas Iscariot betray Jesus, but he knew he was going to do it. Remember there are some Christians who aren’t really Christians and there are pastors who just use God’s name for money and I believe Judas used God’s name for money. Once you become a true Christian you can’t be demon possessed and you will always be a Christian. John 10:28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.

Was Judas saved? No, Satan entered him. True Christians can never be demon possessed!

Is Judas in hell? Judas was the only unclean disciple. According to John 13, Judas was not clean. How can Judas be in heaven if he was unclean? This verse tells me that Judas was not saved and his sins were not forgiven.
John 13:8-11 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. Why did Judas go to hell? Judas went to hell because he failed to repent and put his trust in Christ alone for salvation. Judas was unregenerate. He was a man that looked the part but he was not truly converted by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Did Judas go to hell for betraying Jesus? The short is answer is no. This is a works-based question. Some people say, Judas sinned by betraying Jesus, therefore he went to hell. This is not the case. Peter betrayed Jesus as well. However, we noticed that he was burdened and grieved over his sin. He repented over his and he was forgiven. Why did Peter repent? Peter repented because he was truly converted of the Lord. He was saved. In Peter, we see evidence of a man who failed but looked to Jesus. We don’t see repentance in Judas. The mark of Christian is not someone who will never sin. We are saved by Christ alone. Jesus lived the life that we couldn’t live. However, a Christian should bear good fruit and they should be growing in repentance. As stated above, Judas went to hell because he did not trust in Christ for salvation.

The contrast yet similarity with Judas and Peter is insightful for ALL of us. (Note…apparently Bisjop Fulton Sheen had the same observation, though he’s waaaay smarter than me).
Yes, Judas betrayed Jesus. That was bad.
In a different way, Peter betrayed Jesus.
Both Apostles were upset about their action.
Judas took that anxiety and responded by “atoning for his sin” by retuning the coins.
Peter wept bitterly.
Judas hanged himself.
Jesus Resurrected meets Peter again, and (we presume) is forgiven.
I suspect, Judas isn’t in Heaven…BUT, it is arguable that had Judas not killed himself, Jesus would have forgiven him.
The lesson for us, is that as long as you are breathing, you are never too far gone for Our Lord’s forgiveness IF YOU WANT IT AND YOU ARE SORRY.

When choosing the 12, why didn’t Jesus pass up on the ‘devil’ Judas, and choose one less evil? Or was his betrayal part of the ‘Divine Plan of Attoning for Mans’ Sins’?
But what is that in today’s money?
Even though it it said the Jesus didn't force Judas to betray Him, He did know that Judas would.
So even though as long as we are breathing we can hope we may be saved, Jesus already knows whether or not we are.
Thus the paradox of free will and predestination.

In Hebrew culture, thirty pieces of silver was not a lot of money. In fact, it was the exact price paid to the master of a slave if and when his slave was gored by an ox (Exodus 21:32). The slave’s death was compensated by the thirty pieces of silver.

He called Peter - Satan.
You see now how taking a verse out of context and can make you incorrectly judge a situation.
Answer: Only Jesus knows if Judas came to repent and have faith before his death.
I lean toward he did. Why? What did he do with the 30 pieces of silver? Then what did he do to himself? Does that not show repentance? But we leave Judas’ eternal destination in God’s hands, not man’s speculation.
And in Matthew 16:23 He said to Peter "Get behind me Satan."
So Judas was a devil and Peter was "Satan". However this means nothing in regards to their eternal life. Or death.
Only God knows their fate.
No human knows Judas’ final fate. (Seems rather weird to hear the speculation!)
If he did repent before his end, it would have been between him and his Maker/Master, we were not privy to this.
I do know that Jesus extended Grace to all — even beyond the grave (preached to those in Hell).

The more accurate translations indicated he was remorseful and regretted what he had done. But that's different than repentence. True repentence does not result in suicide.
Judas most certainly went to Hell..The pit of Hell.
