After the Supreme Court ruled that states lack standing to sue President Joe Biden’s administration for not enforcing federal immigration law, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas says he will reinstate the agency’s so-called “sanctuary country” orders that shield most of the nation’s illegal aliens from arrest and deportation. “We applaud the Supreme Court’s ruling,” Mayorkas said: DHS looks forward to reinstituting these guidelines, which had been effectively applied by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to focus limited resources and enforcement actions on those who pose a threat to our national security, public safety, and border security....

..."The Ministry of Defense is trying to deceive the public and the president and spin the story that there were insane levels of aggression from the Ukrainian side and that they were going to attack us together with the whole NATO block," the Russian businessman said. "The special operation was started for a completely different reason." Prigozhin was echoing a main reason that Putin gave for justifying his decision to invade Ukraine last February—NATO expansion near Russia's border—but avoided naming the Russian leader. Instead, Prigozhin ramped up his months-long criticism of Shoigu. The full-scale invasion of Ukraine was a "poorly...

Palestinians: We Prefer Terrorism to Peace with Israel The findings of the poll, which was conducted between June 7 and 11, show that the Biden Administration and all those who continue to talk about reviving the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians are living under an illusion. The results of the poll indicate that most Palestinians are more interested in killing Jews than making peace with them. The results, in addition, show that most Palestinians want as a successor to their current leader, PA President Mahmoud Abbas, who has ties to terror. According to the poll, the largest percentage...

Buying ultra-expensive watches not so simpleAli Rezaei wanted to buy a $109,000 gold Patek Philippe watch, but a prominent Bay Area jeweler refused to sell it to him — first, he had to buy other fancy items from the swanky boutique, according to Rezaei’s newly filed lawsuit. Rezaei had walked into the Shreve & Co. jewelry shop, nestled among other high-end retailers near San Francisco’s Union Square, “and expressed an interest in purchasing a Patek Philippe 5980/1R-001 watch,” according to his lawsuit filed this week. No, no, no, he was purportedly told by the shop. One does not just waltz...

Every time I think Yevgeny Prigozhin has probably reached the end of his leash, he just goes ahead and says something even more surprising. I really thought he’d reached the limit when he refused to allow his mercenaries to sign an agreement with the army even though Putin (seemingly) ordered him to do it. As far as I know, that hasn’t been resolved yet. Wagner forces still haven’t signed an agreement. But this latest public statement goes way beyond that. Now he is undermining Russia’s entire justification for the war in Ukraine, claiming the whole thing was a lie concocted...

The Defense Ministry quickly issued a statement saying Prigozhin’s accusations “do not correspond to reality and are an informational provocation.” The chief accused Moscow’s military leadership of ordering strikes on their camps and killing a “huge” number of forces. “We were ready to make concessions to the defense ministry, surrender our weapons,” Yevgeny Prigozhin said in a furious audio message released by his spokespeople. “Today, seeing that we have not been...

He added: "A huge number of our comrades died, we will decide how to respond to this atrocity." "The Armed Forces of Ukraine were not going to attack Russia...

Shocking video shows the moment a suspect being booked into a London jail suddenly whips out a hidden 128-year-old revolver — repeatedly opening fire and killing a veteran cop. The harrowing footage from September 2020 was released Friday after Louis De Zoysa, 25, was found guilty of murdering Sgt. Matt Ratana, 54, who was just three months shy of retiring after nearly 30 years with London’s Metropolitan Police. The government appears to agree that Charles Foehner shot a man in self-defense. He may spend decades behind bars anyway.A New York City man is facing a mound of criminal charges and a sentence that would amount to life in prison after he shot and killed a man who, according to surveillance footage, was attempting to mug him. The kicker: The government appears to agree with the defendant, Charles Foehner, on at least one major point: that the shooting was justified. Indeed, prosecutors have not attempted to indict Foehner, 65, on any homicide-related charge. The counts he's facing—there were...

Schlott fancies himself as a “student of pizza” and is quick to admit that when he travels – especially to New York City, where pizza is king – his “first stop is pizza.”
