Pray For The Peace of JerusalemMatthew 16 The Demand for a Sign 16 The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven. 2 He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ 3 and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.[a] 4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will...

California Governor Gavin Newsom has entertained the idea of giving reparations to African American citizens of California in the last two years. He commissioned a Reparations Task Force to decide how much African-Americans should receive in reparations and what offenses white people supposedly committed that would merit the reparation payments. The offenses that they have come up with so far include, of course, slavery, housing discrimination, mass incarceration, and ‘devaluation’ of black businesses and health care. The committee suggested a high price tag of $223,200 for each African American citizen of California, which would cost the state $569 Billion. According...

Russian President Vladimir Putin fell down the stairs and soiled himself this week amid mounting speculation that his health is declining, an anti-Kremlin Telegram channel with apparent links to his security team reported. Putin, 70, suffered the unfortunate fall at his Moscow official residence on Wednesday evening, according to the Telegram channel “General SVR,” which purports to be run by a former Russian spy. The ailing Russian leader allegedly fell down five steps before landing on his coccyx, or tailbone. Although his security guards immediately rushed to his aid, the impact of the fall caused Putin to “involuntarily defecate” due...

When Meera Sanghani-Jorgensen was in her 30s, she and her husband began to discuss having children. They both wanted to have kids, but Sanghani-Jorgensen couldn’t shake the feeling that, by giving birth, she might be doing something bad for the earth. “I wanted to have a child, but I was also looking at the planet and thinking: ‘Well, what kind of future will we have if there’s more of the same?’ ” she said. She thought about the diapers, the party favors, the toys, and the billions of tons of carbon emissions warming the planet every year. She felt weighed...

On Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre revealed that the Biden Administration is “paying attention” to any “reporting” concerning pro-Free Speech changes that Elon Musk makes to Twitter under his ownership. As reported by the New York Post, Pierre had previously said on Monday that the government is “keeping an eye on” Twitter as Musk fulfills his promises to make the platform more transparent, which has led to Musk revealing shocking new reports about the true extent of Twitter’s liberal bias, censorship, and election interference. In response, Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked Pierre why the Biden White House remains...

Internet pioneer Radia Perlman has argued in favor of centralized infrastructure, while speaking at the International Symposium on Blockchain Advancements in Singapore on Friday. Perlman said that conventional wisdom poses centralised systems as “bad” and decentralized as “good,” however decentralized entities are inherently problematic in multiple ways. “Blockchain as a buzzword started as the technology behind Bitcoin. People made money on Bitcoin and the more hyped it was, the more start-ups leveraged the hype to claim their product has something to do with Blockchain” explained Perlman. “If you hear so much hype, eventually you assume well, it must be incredibly...

There’s no logical reason for California to make these payments, but it’s in the grip of virtue-signaling madness. Next year, California is facing a $25 billion budget deficit, businesses are fleeing, and the big cities are swamped with seas of drug-addled homeless people. None of that has stopped the reparations committee that Governor Gavin Newsom convened from thinking big when it comes to reparations for Blacks in that state. The current proposal envisions giving each of California’s 2.5 million self-identified Black Americans $223,200 (totaling $559 Billion) for “housing discrimination.” California has long had a problem when it comes to the...
