New York — of all places — is in play as a swing state on Election Day. Top Republicans in the House of Representatives say the road to their majority will run through the Empire State, after redistricting left the historically blue stronghold with toss-up seats they aim to turn red. “We believe New York is a top battleground state. We have a chance to win a bunch of seats in New York and we have invested nearly $10 million in making that happen,” said Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minnesota), chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee. Republicans need to flip...

Progressive policies funded and foisted on the Big Apple by Gov. Hochul and her left-wing allies have caused a legion of drug-addicted zombies to descend on East Harlem and transform parts of the neighborhood into lawless, open-air shooting galleries, neighbors and critics told The Post. The real-life horror show plays out daily in the neighborhood’s gritty streets where The Post witnessed dozens of raving, hunched-over junkies commandeering East 126th Street — now the home of a controversial public-injection site — as drug dealers hovered nearby like vultures. Others along Park Avenue down to East 114th Street have been spotted nodding...

Kathy Hochul was called out about the state’s out-of-control crime surge on MSNBC — of all places — where an anchor on the ultra-liberal network even told her “we don’t feel safe.” “Here’s the problem. We don’t feel safe, you might be working closely with Mayor Adams, you may have spent a whole lot of money but I walk into my pharmacy and everything is on lockdown because of shoplifters,” said anchor Stephanie Ruhle during her interview with Hochul on her show “The 11th Hour” Friday. “I’m not going in the subway. people don’t feel safe in this town....

An Army vet who once did time for killing a commanding officer was arrested for a decades-old double murder of two teenage boys in Oregon, officials said. The boys’ bodies were found the following morning by an Oregonian newspaper delivery driver.

The human clitoris is a scientific iceberg, both physically and figuratively. In the past, research on our species' clitoris has been superficial at best, and even the tiny bit that we think we know now is not always right. The clitoris is often said to house 8,000 nerve endings – 'double' that of the penis – but new findings, presented at a scientific meeting in October, suggest that's a serious underestimation of both sex organs. The study is not yet peer-reviewed, but at least the results are on track to be properly scrutinized. The numbers most often cited for the...

“For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness.” (Romans 6:19) In the 20th century, between the end of the 60s and beginning of the 70s movements of sexual liberation began and the idea of a “sexual revolution” started to spread. During the 60s broad changes started to occur in Western societies, particularly society’s attitude toward sex, which aimed to “liberate” sex from predominant religious, social and ethical constraints, leading to new legislation about the sexual behavior of an individual...

MILWAUKEE (AP) — On break in the hallway between St. Marcus Lutheran Church and its attached school, eighth grader Annii Kinepoway had no hesitation in explaining what she’s learned to love best here — the good Lord and good grades. “I like knowing there’s somebody you can ask for help if you need it. Somebody is there and looking over you,” she said of her newly found faith, while proudly wearing the tie indicating her academic honors. Annii’s mother could only afford this educational opportunity because of school choice programs, which 94% of St. Marcus’ 1,160 students in Milwaukee also...

The time for remorse has come. Jack Dorsey, the co-founder and former CEO of Twitter (TWTR) , made a rare public act of contrition on Nov. 5, after the dismissal in one day of half of the platform's 7,500 employees by his friend Elon Musk. Musk became the owner and new boss of the microblogging website on Oct. 27. Since then, he has sought to find new sources of revenue for the firm, which does not come close to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok in advertising proceeds. The tech tycoon launched an austerity cure aimed at drastically reducing costs. Consequently,...

Opposition to a planned biblical reading about marriage at a girls' school graduation mass shows society is becoming "increasingly hostile to Christian beliefs", according to Tasmania's Catholic archbishop — who likened it to the Essendon saga over Andrew Thorburn's resignation. Hobart Catholic school St Mary's College made headlines last week when concerns were raised about the chosen reading for its graduation Mass — Ephesians 5: 21-23 — which includes: "Wives should regard their husbands as they regard the Lord, since as Christ is head of the Church and saves the whole body, so is a husband the head of his...

Calling for Patriarch Kirill's resignation, Patriarch Bartholomew has accused the Russian Church head of supporting the alleged "political crimes" of the Moscow government. According to a recent report, he said it would be better to resign than to support the war. He urged Patriarch Kirill to "separate himself" from Moscow authorities, "even if this means stepping down from the episcopal throne." Meanwhile, many clergy in Ukraine have openly condemned Patriarch Bartholomew's attack on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church over the past several years, noting that his divisive actions have contributed in part to the current hostilities between Russia and Ukraine. Barack Obama joined Joe Biden this week in urging Americans to vote for Democrats in November so that Congress can force states to legalize taxpayer-funded abortion on demand. In a video message Wednesday, Obama warned that Americans’ “fundamental rights” are at stake and a Democrat-led Congress can save them, echoing similar comments Tuesday from Biden. “Election day is right around the corner, and I want to be clear about what’s at stake. Our fundamental rights are on the ballot, especially women’s reproductive rights,” Obama said. “That’s because earlier this year, the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade. Now extreme Republicans...
