With Joe Biden only in office for just over 430 days so far, with well over 1,000 days left in his presidency, and stores in America already looking like the photograph above sent in to ANP by a reader in Beaver Falls, PA, just imagine what the store shelves will look like at the end of Biden’s term! With it long having been warned that only 9 meals separate a civilized society from complete and total anarchy, please listen to what Biden says in the final video below: “We both talked about how we could INCREASE and disseminate MORE RAPIDLY...

FOURTH WEEK OF LENT JOHN 7:1-2, 10, 25-30 Friends, the Gospel for today centers around a theme that we can never speak of enough: the divinity of Jesus. There has been a disturbing tendency in recent years—you can see it clearly in Eckhart Tolle’s bestselling book The Power of Now— to turn Jesus into an inspiring spiritual teacher, like the Buddha or the Sufi mystics. But if that’s all he is, the heck with him. The Gospels are never content with such a reductive description. Though they present Jesus quite clearly as a teacher, they know that he is infinitely...

Vladimir Putin has warned the west that Europe faces another influx of migrants caused by a global food crisis that is now inevitable. The Russian President made the comments at a meeting on air transportation and aircraft manufacturing on Thursday. Putin’s invasion of Ukraine prompted western sanctions and an energy squeeze that has left the stability of the global food supply in a precarious state. Soaring international food inflation led the United Nations to warn that the Middle East is near “breaking point,” with food riots a real possibility. “People’s resilience is at a breaking point. This crisis is creating...

A draft security deal raised alarm in Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S. Solomon Islands Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare is trying to assuage those concerns. Seeking to counter international fears over its new security alliance with China, the Solomon Islands said Friday it won’t allow China to build a military base there. But that insistence will do little to ease concerns about the pact from the nation’s traditional partners, including New Zealand, Australia, and the United States. The leader of neighboring Micronesia added his voice to those expressing trepidation by invoking the bloody battles of World War II and warning...

"I still can't believe it. Everything...

LOS ANGELES, CA—In a show of penitence for the insensitive joke told during the Oscars, Chris Rock offered to smooth things over with Will Smith by sleeping with his wife. “My client feels incredible remorse for the violently inconsiderate jab aimed at Jada Pinkett Smith’s debilitating medical condition,” said Rock’s publicist, “As such, Chris generously proposes making amends by making love.” Friends of the Smiths expressed surprise that Will’s initial reaction was to reject the comedian’s coital olive branch, knowing the cuckold really had no say in the matter. However, after learning he was at risk of losing his precious...

President Joe Biden’s deputies have announced they will lift the Title 42 barrier at the southern border on May 23, allowing a vast wave of wage-cutting, rent-spiking migrants into America’s job and housing markets. “We are increasing our capacity to process new arrivals, evaluate asylum requests,” said a statement from Alejandro Mayorkas, who heads Biden’s Department of Homeland Security and is trying to build an extra immigration system that operates alongside annual limits set by Congress

The 34-year-old man involved in a Thursday shooting that left both himself and a Lebanon police officer dead had mental health issues and had strangled a former girlfriend multiple times, court documents said. Travis Shaud was unemployed and on disability because of his mental illness last year when his ex-girlfriend and mother of his 1-year-old child filed a protection of abuse order against him, Lebanon County documents said. Shaud’s criminal record before the fatal shootout Thursday wasn’t extensive, but two assault charges, accounts from his neighbors and his own social media posts paint a troubled portrait of him. Police said...

All wars are full of lies. Winston Churchill famously said, “In wartime, truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies.”We accept that idea broadly. Secret invasion plans should be closely held. The identities of spies must be kept under wraps. New weapons and defensive tools should not be revealed because enemies will be alerted to their potential and begin offensive workarounds.Still, just because the government has legitimate reasons to deceive the public in wartime does not mean that citizens don’t have a duty to find the truth to the extent they can.The Russian-Ukraine...

Donald Trump, GOP Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said this week that he is fine with Republican candidates who support the former president as long as they can win their elections. Trump has repeatedly attacked McConnell in public statements since McConnell condemned the former president last year for inciting his supporters to attack the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. "There is no question that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of that day," McConnell said in a Senate floor speech on February 13, 2021.

The Taliban have barred women from flying alone on domestic and international airlines operating in Afghanistan. The change in flight policy was announced on Monday as the latest move by the militant group to hinder women's rights within Afghanistan. ... The policy specifically told airlines that women could not board a flight without a male relative or chaperone, two sources told Reuters. The policy change barred dozens of women who arrived at Kabul's international airport from transferring flights, officials told the Associated Press on condition of anonymity. Local women and dual nationals were equally affected by the policy and were...

It feels like we're turning a corner. Since the beginning of the calendar year, a lot of things have changed. More importantly, a lot of minds have changed as well. The world and the nation don't look like they used to, and don't seem likely to again any time soon. Consider the masks. On New Year's Day, 30% of people in 11 states and the District of Columbia were subject to statewide masking mandates. In addition, mask mandates were in effect in several dozen politically liberal cities and counties in other states, raising coverage to more than one-third of the...

Joe Biden continues to import illegals into the United States and wants funds to put migrant border crossers under “house arrest” and provide them with taxpayer-funded attorneys to fight deportation. The move will make the numbers at detention centers decrease while the illegal population will continue to grow inside the U.S. and provide a road map for relatives and others who are trying to get into the U.S. The San Antonio Express News reported the protocol could include angle bracelets and phone apps to allegedly keep track of the thousands and thousands of people being released inside the country. The...

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A federal judge on Thursday struck down key provisions of a 2021 Florida election law championed by Gov. Ron DeSantis and, in a remarkable move, ruled the state must get court approval for the next 10 years before it enacts further changes in three areas. Chief U.S. District Judge Mark Walker, in a blistering 288-page decision, said the law placed restrictions on voters that were unconstitutional and discriminated against minority citizens. Those included limits on drop boxes used for mail-in voting, on giving items to voters waiting in line and new requirements placed on voter registration groups....
