President Trump said the U.S. would likely launch more strikes against Iran Wednesday night, telling reporters at a NATO summit in Turkey "we hit them very hard last night," and "we're going to hit them hard again tonight."
Earlier Wednesday Mr. Trump said, "as far as I'm concerned, it's over," when asked about the ceasefire with Iran. After an exchange of strikes by both countries, Mr. Trump called Iran's leaders "sick" and declared it "a waste of time dealing with them."

Trump seems to finally understand the radical Twelver cult.
This seems to be the only possible outcome. The people running Iran are not stupid, and their not necessarily crazy, they are zealots. If the people running Iran agree to any sort of peace with the US and Israel, it’s seen as capitulation and weakness. If the Iranian leadership shows weakness, their leadership may come to an end.
Sweet. A new 90 days can start up.

The only way Trump is going to end this war is to destroy the IRGC. Completely annihilate them. That involves confiscating their wealth around the world and destroying their bases in Iran. Confiscating their wealth involves getting tough with the Gulf States. Destroying their bases in Iran involves some ugly bombing campaigns of civilian areas because the IRGC has embedded their bases in and under civilian and residential areas, hospitals, etc. We would need to bomb residential areas and hospitals. Kill civilians. And get really aggressive with our deal allies in the Gulf States about their banking practices.

He gave them every chance. More importantly, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and many other nations spent capital brokering this deal. They now have lost face. The one thing these nations hate is to lose face. I suspect that they will be more cooperative this time around.
We all knew this about them, so why all this delay in trying to negotiate with them? It’s a delaying tactic. They have never honored one agreement since 1979, so why did we expect them to start now? Also, extracting a toll for passage through international waters is simply wrong and should never be part of any negotiations.
Trump needs to end this quickly because he’s the only person willing to do what it takes, and unfortunately he’s fading fast. He just said we struck the Islamic Republic of Japan.
Just like Hamas it will be necessary to dig them out of their holes and shoot them.
The muslims have been at this war for 14 centuries. They want the end of the world because their 12th Imam will return and initiate the caliphate. President Trump is correct, they’re stone cold insane.
I recall, two days after 9/11 when members of the Congress were singing God bless America on the steps of the Capitol. I believe it was Congressman Virgil Goode who stepped up to the mic and said of the jihadists,
“They want to eradicate us. We need to eradicate them first.”
That’s it right there in a nutshell. Of course that may not be entirely possible, but defanging Itan is a must.

I think knowing Trump who works to achieve goals on multiple fronts and paths, he had multiple reasons that include obtaining new targets as demonstrated by the report that we hit 80 last night, gather intelligence about where they regrouped after the first attack, give markets more time to adjust to alternate sources of oil, a lot can be gleaned from negotiations that gives tells about the target, give our military some breathing room and time to replenish as well as time to review what worked and what didn’t work.
He can seem many things, then it just disappears.
