The Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment.
The 6-3 decision saw Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett join with the court's liberals. Associate Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch dissented.
"No such intersovereign concerns apply to children born of parents unlawfully or temporarily present in the United States; no foreign sovereign would “have any motive for wishing” them outside this Nation’s authority," Roberts wrote. "Those children are thus subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. They satisfy both elements of the Citizenship Clause: they are 'born ... in the United States' and 'subject to the jurisdiction thereof.' Under the Constitution, they are citizens at birth."

What a disturbing interpretation of jurisdiction. So if you’re here on vacations for two weeks so you can have a kid that gets citizenship before returning to your home country? Oh well! 🤔
Barrett and pi$$ant Roberts are an abomination to the Republic. Trump really screwed up selecting her. Must have listened to one of his liberal people. Surely there are solid judges out there to select from.

POTUS owns this, sadly. Coney Barrett was a God awful choice and many, many people said as much at the time. A truly country-destroying Supreme Court appointment.

Has anyone read the decision? I’m praying that it’s narrow and says POTUS does not have the power to interpret the Constitution via executive order. If not, we are so screwed!
And on that issue, Barrett delivered.
Time to start making overseas “citizens” start filing tax returns on an annual basis.
Even if they owe no taxes because they only have overseas income, a failure to file should prompt an audit. Lack of cooperation can lead to criminal charges.

A pregnant woman from Canada gets on a plane and flies to Mexico , halfway there she gives birth and that kid is not an American citizen , they are an American citizen even against the will of their parents.
Apathy will end up killing this country.
