I plan on making a 3rd quarter payment this time.
Back when I could, I just put the Amex into Paypal and paid with that. Easy peasy.
On a search, it sounds like PayPal could work with AMX funding but you need to use the AMX app. Like so many others, they want you to install their app on your smart phone so you're linked to paying with the phone. And that's exactly what I don't do. I pay all kinds of stuff electronically from devices I choose when it's on and when it's off, unlike smart phones.
It's odd that FR accepts manual payments from AMX just not automatic payments. Chris told me they were working on it
But given that I've been a monthly donor at the dollar a day level for many years, and I'm not sure I've ever seen my name on those lists, maybe I'll just do quarterly manual payments instead.
I just donated my quarterly amount. I hope others will step up because I am tired of doubling my contribution because others won’t donate.
