Fifty-five passengers aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship that departed Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday have since tested positive for COVID-19, a report said. Due to the infections, the Odyssey of the Seas, which is carrying 3,587 guests and 1,599 crew, will now bypass planned stops at Curacao or Aruba during its eight-day journey, a company spokesperson told USA Today. People aboard with positive cases are experiencing either mild symptoms, or none at all. They, and their close contacts, have gone into quarantine. Ninety-five percent of those on the ship are fully vaccinated – as the company requires all crew...

Very sad how the birth of our Savior is presented commercially and on television. I see no 'Jesus in the Manger' pictures anywhere. Just references to Santa Claus, buying gifts and parties. What happened to singing carols? Like this: https://www.bing.com/search?q=home+free+o%27+holy+night&FORM=QSRE7

News from the City of Brotherly Love: "Oh look, my congressional representative was carjacked at gunpoint in Philadelphia today." The story reports: As of December 6, Philadelphia had recorded 521 homicides for the year, surpassing New York’s 443 and Los Angeles at 352. This is despite the fact that with a population of 1.5 million, Philly is less than half the size of Los Angeles and one-fifth of New York. Remember that Philly is blessed to be one of those large American cities with a George Soros DA. I’ve looked around at several versions of the robbed Congresswoman story, and...

Interstellar space is a graveyard of lost souls. Adrift far from any star, these planets float in the darkness like ghost ships in the night. Catching sight of one requires patience, and a good eye. But a new approach based on tens of thousands of images collected by the European Southern Observatory's facilities has resulted in the identification of as many as 170 potential 'rogue' worlds in our corner of the galaxy. If a good fraction of them are confirmed to be planets, it would suggest the Milky Way is swarming with solar exiles. "There could be several billions of...

They're doing it again. The New York Times is aggressively hiding relevant facts on a matter of public interest simply in order to promote the narrative of black victimhood. OK, we didn't get away with it last time, but we probably will this time. Let's try! Daunte Wright is the half-black man fatally shot by a police officer in Minnesota earlier this year. According to Nexis, he has appeared in well over 100 articles in the Times. But one thing Times readers will never be told is that Wright was facing criminal charges for trying to choke a woman to...

Stellantis’ mysterious concept EV now has a name, and it’s called the Airflow. Revealed during the brand’s EV Day earlier this summer, the Chrysler crossover concept looks to be sized relative to the Tesla Model Y and Ford Mustang Mach-E, with familiar nods to late Chrysler-branded products. Digital rendering of the Chrysler Airflow EV concept on display.Photo: Stellantis ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This EV concept is part of Stellantis’ roadmap it plans to reveal at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 5 in Las Vegas, what Stellantis is calling it’s “transformation to clean mobility and seamlessly connected customer experiences.” The Airflow...

The 2022 CES show in Las Vegas will be very important for Chevrolet. The automaker will unveil the electric version of the Silverado which will be based on a modular platform and will use the company’s Ultium batteries. It will be aimed directly against the Ford F-150 Lightning and the likes in the quickly growing segment of zero-emission trucks. And according to GM’s boss, it will be unmatched on the market. General Motors CEO Mary Barra recently spoke during an Automotive Press Association meeting in Detroit where she discussed the Silverado EV and the automaker’s strategy for electric vehicles. When...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemLuke 18The Little Children and Jesus 15 People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”_______________________________________________________God Bless America.ML/LTOS

Electric car manufacturing is running into a hiccup as the price of one key material is rising. This will also cause problems for President Joe Biden and his administration, as they were planning on growing the electric car industry in order to promote sustainability. The price for lithium, a key material for electric car batteries, is skyrocketing. In the past 12 months, the cost of lithium has gone up more than 250 percent, according to Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, meaning the price of batteries is going up as well. Overall, there has been a downward trend in the pricing of battery...

Colleges across the country are facing a mental health crisis, driven in part by the pandemic. After almost two years of remote schooling, restricted gatherings and constant testing, many students are anxious, socially isolated, depressed — and overwhelming mental health centers. At a few institutions, there has been a troubling spate of suicides. Now another swell of Covid cases, driven by the Omicron variant, threatens to make life on campus worse.

... In times of crisis, our leaders must be present. They must provide compassion and hope, leading with integrity and open arms. Gov. Andy Beshear and President Joe Biden have both exemplified that this week — but Paul, whose own hometown was ravaged by tornadoes, has done the bare minimum. While many Kentuckians mourn their loved ones and start to try to put their lives back together, Paul has had to defend his record of trying to block disaster relief. His votes against providing relief for Hurricane Sandy in 2012, Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria in 2017, and even voting...

The Republican gubernatorial primary in Georgia is already proving to be bitterly divisive, but the two candidates are on the same page when it comes to at least one issue: Constitutional Carry. Both incumbent governor Brian Kemp and his Trump-approved challenger David Perdue say they support the idea, which could dramatically improve the odds of success when the 2022 legislative session kicks off in early January.

This time of year, dear readers, is when us writers curate lists. Some are about the best movies, top kitchen appliances or favorite new songs of 2021. This year, I'd like to recommend three books to read after the tumultuous events of 2021. My first is a new and important book by law professors Randy Barnett and Evan Bernick: "The Original Meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment." The 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868, and before it, no individuals of African descent -- including slaves and free persons -- could become U.S. citizens. While the 13th Amendment abolished slavery, it didn't...

The battle against wokeism, aka the Critical Social Justice perspective, is entering its third phase. The first phase involved sounding the alarm and drawing attention to this retrograde, caustic, atavistic, anti-modern, anti-liberal, anti-science and anti-scientific creed. The second phase whose end we are now approaching involved understanding, analyzing and describing to the public at large what characterizes the creed, where it comes from, its results and the extent to which it has captured our institutions. The third phase involves challenging the creed and recapturing our institutions. The beginning of this phase began in earnest in K-12 education with parents all...

New York Magazine is using its cover photo to celebrate a woman who cut off her breasts and had a tube of flesh from her leg surgically added to her groin. The article by Gabriel Mac is headlined: “My Penis, Myself; I didn’t need a penis to be a man. But I needed one to be me.” The display is a visceral and anti-female rejection of women and their bodies, says a barrage of comments from stunned women. “Most of us have had a body dysmorphia & traumatic sexual experience & now we’re seeing an abandonment of womanhood celebrated as...
