The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit issued a stay Tuesday which prevents the enforcement of California’s “large-capacity” magazine ban while an appeal is made to the Supreme Court.

The news is not as good as it sounds.
You still can not buy a new standard capacity magazine. The only thing the stay accomplishes is to allow you to keep one you already own.
The law they upheld makes mere possession of a standard magazine illegal. Sounds unconstitutional to me, and the fact that they issued a stay tells me they think it is unconstitutional also, but are going to try to get it through anyway.
This has happened before, and the magazine manufacturers flooded Cali with large capacity magazines.
One mag company had a logo on the outside of their box which looked like the magazine was giving California the “finger”.
I found lots of photos of those boxes several years ago, now I cannot find any with a Google search. Not a one!

But it amazes me how difficult it is for some to understand these simple words: “ ... the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”.

The California ban will become, like 1986 GCA was in Heller, a long-standing restriction and therefore constitutional.

This signals the probability that the USSC will overturn this insult to our most important freedom.

Dred Scott v. Sandford is always a good, albeit long read. I don't see anything in that case (or the dissent) that resembles the federal power grab scheme that SCOTUS suggested in Heller.
Quit using Google search is a lesson from that. They hate you and would prefer you dead. Same for me. Starve them as much as you can.
