Americans believe that President Biden faced bigger challenges than his predecessor Donald Trump during his first 100 days in office — and performed better than Trump despite those difficulties, according to a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll. The survey of 1,558 U.S. adults, which was conducted from April 27 to April 29, found that less than a third say Trump’s challenges were bigger than Biden’s (31 percent) or that Trump performed better (32 percent) during the first 100 days of his presidency. Pluralities say Biden has performed better than Trump (41 percent) in the face of greater obstacles (37 percent). The...

The Pentagon on Friday announced it is canceling all border wall construction projects that were paid for by military funding -- part of a broader effort by the Biden administration to cancel the Trump-era barrier. Biden issued an executive order in January halting all construction projects related to the wall so that a review could take place. More than 450 miles had been built during the Trump administration and approximately 350 miles (more) was already funded -- some of that with money diverted from the Defense Department... The Pentagon said that funds would be used instead for previously deferred military...

Let the “Florida education” jokes begin. Photos of a fresh paint job in an Orange County school zone show what was supposed to be the word “SCHOOL” incorrectly spelled “SCOHOL.” The botched paint job was spotted Wednesday on Golfway Boulevard near Woodbury Road in the Eastwood subdivision of East Orange County, just south of Waterford Lakes. A county spokeswoman said it was “an honest mistake” that was corrected Wednesday night.

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) is hosting dinners to express appreciation for the brave men and women in law enforcement. Yet after the BGEA’s president, Franklin Graham, invited police in Seattle, Wash., to attend one of the free dinners at a four-star hotel, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) issued a condemnation of Graham and his organization due to their support for biblical Christianity. Leftists and antifa in Seattle have demonized police, but it seems evangelical Christians are the lowest of the low — even the police want nothing to do with them. Earlier this month, SPD Chief Adrian Diaz...

youtube link herePete holds nearly every ncaa career scoring record. He scored 3,667 points (in 3 years because Freshmen weren't eligible back then). That is over 44 points/game for 3 years. Neither the career total or average will ever be even approached. Ever. Dale Brown dug out the old game charts and proved that he would have averaged 57 w/ a 3 point line. I would surmise that average would be well over 60 simply because he would have taken (and made) so many more 3 pointers if there was a line there. He averaged 24+ in the nba for...

...Every case is different,” DJ Envy said. “And in this case, if I pull up to a scene and see a girl chasing another girl about to stab a girl, my job as a police officer is to make sure that girl doesn’t get killed. And the law allows me to stop that killing or that stabbing by any means necessary. That’s what the law allows me to do, on both sides.” Bryant was shot by Columbus police officer Nicholas Reardon when he responded to a 911 call about a fight between the 16-year-old Bryant and an adult woman. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said Thursday morning that he's no longer sure "what we're spending the money on," regarding the long-awaited report and potential prosecutions from Justice Department special counsel John Durham. "It's now been two-plus years, and we've had virtually zero activity from Durham as best as anyone can see," Fitton during an appearance on "Just the News AM." Late last month, Trump issued a brief statement inquiring after Durham's whereabouts. "Is he a living, breathing human being? Will there ever be a Durham report?" Trump asked in the statement. Fitton said Thursday he's not so concerned about...

David Flynn, the father of two Dedham, Massachusetts public school students, was fired last year after questioning an abrupt change in curriculum in his daughter's "World Geography and Ancient History" class, according to Judicial Watch. The lawsuit states that Flynn and his wife noticed their daughter was receiving instruction on issues outside the class description on the school website. It alleges that their child was instead being instructed on issues of race, gender, stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination, and politics, among others. In one assignment, Flynn’s daughter was asked to consider various “risk factors” and “mitigating factors” that two people – one...

This bridge will take a toll on the faint of heart. The views of rock-strewn mountains covered in lush greenery are spectacular from the 1693 foot crossing, but the see-through metal grid pathway that wobbles with every step might give many walkers pause. The bridge traverses the fast moving River Paiva in the Arouca Geopark, suspended 574 feet above the water. “I was a little afraid, but it was so worth it,” the Arouca resident said on the other side. “It was extraordinary, a unique experience, an adrenaline rush.”
