One year ago today, the World Health Organization finally declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. Misinformation from the Chinese government and their influence over scientists on the United Nations health organization delayed crucial information that could have saved hundreds of thousands of lives.

...are there to buy/sell? Purchased some ammo & my co-buyer fell through so looking for alternate sites to sell. I like Gunbroker but it's complicated to get set up as a seller. I believe places like Facebook, Craigslist all ban. Any insights are appreciated. P.S.: thought about gun shows or swap meets but I'm assuming there's a minimum table purchase.

WASHINGTON, Tuesday, March 12, 1861 FORT SUMPTER TO BE EVACUATED. The impression prevails here that the Cabinet to-day decided on the issue of an order for the evacuation of Fort Sumpter, although, of course, nothing official is known on the subject. The best evidences to which access can be obtained lead me to believe it true. It is generally conceded among military men here of longest experience that Fort Sumpter cannot be reinforced without great loss of life and the expenditure of millions of money. In this opinion, Gen. SCOTT and Secretary CAMERON fully concur. It is understood that the...

I'm considering dropping cable, cutting the cord so to speak. My cable provider (Spectrum) has been to my house 3 times over the issue of dropped audio and pixelation. The issues have been so pronounced that it can make some shows almost unwatchable. They are coming again today but I spoke with a neighbor that also has Spectrum and he said they have the same issue, so I am sure it is somewhere in their lines feeding my development. I'm not much interested in going to a satellite dish, I've had both dish and direct TV before. I dropped dish...

On January 6th, 2021, Ashli Babbitt, a 14 year Air Force Veteran, was shot and killed by a Capitol Police Officer. The Capitol Police continue to hid details of her shooting death from the American public. It was the only shooting incident at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. ...... Snip...... The Officer who shot Ashli Babbit reportedly said Ashli’s backpack factored into him killing her. But what was actually inside Ashli’s backpack? Was it a bomb or a weapon of mass destruction? Maybe a chemical weapon or high-capacity firearm?

Jack LaPant didn’t come from a farming family and had no personal knowledge of agriculture. But once he switched careers in his early 20s and bought a ranch in a remote area of Northern California, farming became his life and his livelihood. He never expected this decision would lead to his being targeted by the U.S. Army over an environmental law they had no authority to enforce. Yet, after 47 years in the industry, Jack found himself in an eight-year legal battle in which he suffered losses of upward of $1.2 million. As a young man, Jack worked for Pacific...

I can’t believe this, but I guess we should soak it all up because this will probably not happen again for a bit. The liberal media actually placed pressure on White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki. It was a slew of issues. From COVID to Cuomo, Psaki was on her heels and it wasn’t just Fox News’ Peter Doocy doing all the work this time. Doocy shut down Psaki over the growing border crisis. Migrants testing positive for COVID are being released, placing border towns and localities at risk. The Fox News reporter noted that these migrants have an infection...

Can we transform the entire health care system by empowering the roughly 60 percent of patients who are in private health plans? That’s the premise of a new book I just read by Todd Furniss (@TFurniss on Twitter). The author of The 60% Solution: Rethinking Healthcare, believes there are five major reforms necessary to empower patients and help them get better care at better prices. These include: (1) change governance, (2) modify health savings accounts (HSAs), (3) clear prices, (4) standardize accounting and information technology in the medical industry and (5) emphasize primary care. Why reform how medical care is...

Third Week of Lent LUKE 18:9–14 Friends, today Jesus tells us of the Pharisee and the tax collector—so, stereotypically righteous and unrighteous people—who both enter the temple to pray. But what a world of difference in their manner of praying! The entire point of religion is to make us humble before God and to open us to the path of love. Everything else is more or less a footnote. Liturgy, prayer, the precepts of the Church, the Commandments, sacraments, sacramentals—all of it—are finally meant to conform us to the way of love. When they instead turn us away from that...
