25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. Take the high road, take the low Take any one you're on I poured the cup, I passed it along And I crossed the RubiconIt’s probably nothing really, just a roar from the belly of the beast.Or, alternatively, it may be the metaphorical crossing of the Rubicon - a move you may recall that started a 5 year civil war and effectively marked the end of the Roman Republic and the beginning of the Roman Empire. I wouldn’t read too much into it though as it is but a metaphor. And a republic that permits electoral fraud and cheating in...

Last week, the New York Post published a dubious story about Hunter Biden, the son of Democratic presidential nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden. The Post story claims Hunter Biden helped arrange a meeting between Joe Biden and an executive at a Ukrainian energy company Burisma in April 2015. The series of stories contained hacked materials and personal email addresses, so Twitter initially prevented people from posting links to the article, sending it via direct message and retweeting it. As CNN's Chief Media Correspondent Brian Stelter noted on "Reliable Sources" Sunday, "We are not talking about fully reliable sources...

If Texas has its way, the 2020 presidential election won’t be over soon. The state of Texas has filed an unprecedented motion with the U.S. Supreme Court, asking for leave to file a complaint with the court against the states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin over the 2020 presidential election. The motion alleges that changes made in election rules governing absentee ballots in those states by “non-legislative actors” violated the Constitution and “cumulatively preclude knowing who legitimately won the 2020 election and threaten to cloud all future elections.” In a nutshell, Texas is saying these four states’ elections were...

The world’s largest hornet, the Asian giant hornet (Vespa mandarinia), has been popularly dubbed the “murder hornet.” Credit: Washington State Department of Agriculture ==================================================================== Honeybees spread animal dung on the entrance of their hives to effectively ward off giant hornets. What’s the best way to ward off giant hornets if you’re a honeybee? Animal dung, according to a first-ever University of Guelph study. U of G researchers have discovered honeybees in Vietnam collect and apply spots of animal dung around hive entrances to deter deadly nest raids by an Asian hornet (Vespa soror) whose North American cousins have been dubbed...

Today’s Scripture: 1 Corinthians 16:13 “Be watchful.” With all the enemies from the world and from Satan arrayed against us, and a guerrilla army of flesh within our own hearts, how can we effectively watch against the temptations that constantly beset us? The old adage "The best defense is a good offense" is good advice for watching against temptation. The best offense is meditation on the Word of God and prayer. It’s surely no coincidence that they’re the only two spiritual exercises that we are encouraged to do continually. We’re to meditate on God’s Word "day and night" (Psalm 1:2),...

I know the government would never release truthful info about this but here is my question... If you or someone you know has gotten covid, were you or them previously taking prophylactics like zinc, vitamin d, vitamin c quercetin, n-acetylcysteine, and/or of course Hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin? In other words is there anyone who was diligent to take these prophylactics but STILL got covid?

Source: Screenshot/Facebook via Hammond Institute for Free EnterpriseI met economist and professor Walter Williams when I interviewed him while hosting a local TV show in Cleveland. We discussed a number of topics but focused on race-based preferences, aka affirmative action. Williams adamantly opposed it, still an unpopular position to take, but especially back then and especially for a Black person. He calmly explained how affirmative action causes a mismatch between a student and his or her ability to succeed on a campus more competitive than would have been the case but for the race-based preferential admission. Without racial preferences, I...

A Pennsylvania elementary school principal has filed a lawsuit against the school district that fired her after she shared on her Facebook page conservative memes, including one that read it is better to vote for a potato than Joe Biden. Veteran educator Amy Sacks, principal of Evergreen Elementary School in the Perkiomen Valley School District, where she has worked for 20 years, posted a number of conservative memes to her Facebook page, which can be viewed in the report at the Daily Mail. Elementary school principal is suing school district after being fired for sharing conservative memes on her Facebook...

It’s been just over two months since Ellen DeGeneres returned to her daytime talk show following several accusations of workplace misconduct — including sexual harassment. According to a new report, it appears the Emmy-winning series still hasn’t recovered from the scandal. Staffers and sources “with knowledge of the situation” recently dished to BuzzFeed News about the true state of the midday staple, claiming that the show has lost advertisers, is now struggling to book A-list guests and has seen a significant dip in ratings. Two employees claim that the production of digital content has taken a nosedive due to a...

The sight of hurried business types carrying boxed salad was typical of San Francisco’s downtown lunch rush before March. But as the business crowd remains at home, that once familiar scene has since been replaced with emptied streets and dimmed storefronts. Ever since the pandemic wrought havoc on restaurants and bars around the Financial District and South of Market, Adam Mesnick says his sandwich shop, Deli Board, has become something of a destination for customers who happen to be in the neighborhood for coffee or walking to an appointment. “It's decimated down here. I mean, the whole time, you're sort...

Pray For the Peace of JerusalemLambs, Sheep, and Shepherds.Psalm 77For the director of music. For Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A psalm. 1 I cried out to God for help; I cried out to God to hear me. 2 When I was in distress, I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands, and I would not be comforted. 3 I remembered you, God, and I groaned; I meditated, and my spirit grew faint.[b] 4 You kept my eyes from closing; I was too troubled to speak. 5 I thought about the former days, the years of long ago; 6...

On Sept. 12, President Trump signed Executive Order 13848, titled “Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election.” Reporting in early August suggested that such an order was being drafted, though—as will be discussed below—it appears to have changed in some meaningful ways. The document opens by finding that foreign persons’ “ability … to interfere in or undermine public confidence in [U.S.] elections … constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the [U.S.],” thus triggering the president’s authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), codified...

This means they can exceed capacity restrictions.. COLORADO SPRINGS — Worship leaders across the state are preparing to be able to do things a bit differently after a new public health order from the governor will allow places of worship to exceed mandated capacity limits. The order redefines worship services as essential, meaning they’re allowed to go over mandated capacity limits if they can’t perform their essential service without doing so. “I grew up in church and sensed that this is what I wanted to do,” said Vista Grande Baptist Church Pastor Chris Moore. “After college I felt that seminary...

The Democrats are so emboldened by the appearance of a Biden win that they are directly and without fear threatening Trump and anyone who supports him. Others started, but This Cynthia Johnson of Michigan REALLY said it directly...we are just about at war. They have cheated to win this election, the know it and we know it and there is no turning back. They (but not many of us) realize they have to finish the job if they can pull it off. They MUST destroy any resistance now and in the future to their plans to take over government and...

Recently entertainer Seth MacFarlane made a quiet announcement that his sci-fi space satire television show ‘’The Orville’’ was going back into production. This is a somewhat unsettling announcement for a couple of reasons. For one, over the past months Seth had been a loud proponent of shutdowns, quarantines, and basically any limitations done in the name of safety. We can guess that the virus has been scientifically shown to avoid television productions. The other issue is that as Seth’s show ramps back up California’s Governor Gavin Newsom has imposed tougher lockdown standards on citizens and businesses, as well as instilling a...
