Tea Party members and Republicans Must Fight Back! (Vanity)

I have had it with the media always protraying the Republican Party and its members/supporters as violent an/or inciting violence. Whats worse is that Republicans never fight back when they are asked if members of its party(Palin and Rove) and certain media (Limbaugh and Beck)are culpable in the violence. If the Republican pary lays down like it did in 1995, after Oklahoma City, I will be done giving money and support to them.

The party and its leaders MUST fight back and use examples of the other side's blantant hypocrisy on this issue. In the history of american politics, no two politicians have been maligned more by the democratic party and the media than George W. Bush and Sara Palin.

The Republicans need to point this out with specific examples and remind whomever the interviewer is that the media honored people such as the Dixie Chicks, Micheal Moore, Cindy Sheahan and Kayne West and treated them as patriots who spoke truth to power, but call tea pary members racist and violent.

The worst offender is Keith Olberman. Every time a Republican is asked if Limbaugh and Palin should bear some responsibility for what happened today, he/or she should remind them of the last 10 years of Democrats doing the following:

*The protesters who threw eggs at Bush's car during his inaugural.Imagine the outrage if tea party members did this during the Obama inaugural.

There is so many more examples, especially regarding Palin, but tea party members and Repulicans need to bring these things up. Plus they should mention Obama's buddies William Ayres and the Rev. Wright.

I have vivid memories of Cronkite reporting on the TET offensive, and his reporting was way more than offensive.

However, with the rise of the New Media, we’ve come much closer to leveling the playing field.

I wish that people didn’t buy into this stuff, but I saw it revive Clinton when he was absolutely on the danged ropes!!! It’s about the only thing that would revive BO and God forbid anybody of that ilk actually gets assassinated because they would most certainly make martyrs of them for all eternity and we’d be building more monuments in DC and putting more faces on Rushmore!!!

I agree but we’ve really got our work cut out for us. The commies own the “media”.

They don't own the net. That's our territory. Let's keep it and use it to the full extent. We must become experts at getting our messages out. We should all make sure that we hit blogs etc. for awhile everyday. If we all did it we could get a lot accomplished without anyone of us getting burnt out. We must be well informed and not afraid. Information is power. Let's roll.

2) The evidence does not pan out the way the left wants it to. They can only scream made up BS, while the facts dont move.

Perception is reality however. People have heard about "the target map" of Palin's, heard about the "tough campaign" against a TeaParty supported candidate, heard local officials decry talk radio and "hatred" in Arizona and, of course, the "target" was a Democrat so they'll immediately assume it was a dangerous right-wing extremist who pulled the trigger.

Facts won't matter. They'll be suspicious no matter what is found out about the shooter. The Left will not take responsibility for any hatred its leaders and talking heads spread or its past actions. If the shooter is an avowed leftist, they'll declare that he's just mentally ill and blame lack of gun control and say if only ObamaCare was in place sooner he'd have gotten the help he needed.

When the OK bombing happened, and Clinton blamed it on Rush, we didn’t have the new media as we do now. I believe that will make a real difference. People don’t like this admin anyway, or the ‘rats. With the new media, rational people...of which most Americans are...will be able to sort things out and come to a logical and honest conclusion, just as the TEA Party did with the financial crisis.

Shep Smith jumped to conclusions and is offensive, though...as always. However, he’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer, anyway. lol

I totally agree with you. It’s hard to forget what has happened in the past, how the ‘rats have politicized every freak who decided to “express” himself.

However, I think this coming war...and I don’t mean a physical war, but a political war...is going to blow up in their collective liberal faces.

We have some power now...in the New Media...thank God!

That is the musing of, either, a very misguided man, or a very desperate man...desperate for his party. I think the latter.

Frankly, I feel good about what is going on presently. They are being exposed for what they are...and it ain’t purty to most of the good citizens of the great USA.

However...cue TEA Party! They are so effective that the left is deathly afraid of them...US! Why do you think that even before the shooter ID was known, they came down on Sarah Palin so badly! It’s because they are afraid of her, too.

The TEA Party killed the last Omnibus spending bill. Reid thought he had nine Republicans...then he pulled the bill.

Another thought...the Cocktail Party Republicans are afraid of us, too. Just witness Orin Hatch’s conservative credentials now.

I like our position in this “war”...we are the Republican base, and we won’t be pushed around anymore. They were fortunate that we gave them another chance in this last election.

Now...we will see what they do with that.
