During the fall campaign, Sarah Palin, the former Republican vice-presidential candidate, posted a controversial map on her Facebook page depicting spots where Democrats were running for re-election; those Democrats were noted by crosshairs symbols like those seen through the scope of a gun. Ms. Giffords was among those on Ms. Palin's map.

My sincere condolences are offered to the family of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and the other victims of today’s tragic shooting in Arizona.

1. Reports now state the shooter is an atheist whose FAVORITE books are Mein Kopf, The Communist Manifesto, and We The Living. He also posted on his youtube page that his favorite video was of an American flag burning.
2. Most likely the shooter worked for the congresswomen for re-election.
3. Most likely the shooter was mad that the congresswomen voted against Pelosi as the House Speaker.
4. Most likely the shooter is a homosexual.
It’s way past time to designate the NYT as a seditious, anti-American organization.
Arrest the editors and owners and if found guilty in a court of law, hang them.
Well OF COURSE Palin is responsible! Rush was responsible for OKC, Boehner was responsible for the heckler.
Republicans, conservatives, constructionists, Tea Party, in fact, any opponent of The Left is the cause of all things bad.

I am one of those old enough to remember when JFK was assassinated, the media pulled the exact same trick. The fact that the murderer was a Communist supporter of Cuba didn’t matter.
They blamed it on White Southern conservatives and gun owners.
