She is also paid by CNN to offer commentary...

A mysterious green slime has been spotted oozing from Gotham’s grates and manholes, causing some New Yorkers to wonder if a superhero comic had suddenly come to life. An X user from Manhattan first sent the phenomenon viral on Thursday, posting photo and video of the bright-hued liquid emerging from below the sidewalk. “So there’s literal green sludge bubbling up from the ground next to World Trade Center right now,” bystander Dan Pantelo wrote, along with a pic of the garish anomaly that has over 14 million views since being posted yesterday. The accidental citizen journalist posted a clip of...

As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine approaches the one-year mark, all eyes are trained on one small, war-ravaged city: Bakhmut. There, in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region, is where one of the fiercest and bloodiest battles of the war is currently playing out as Russia tries to achieve its first major battlefield victory since its capture of the eastern cities of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk over the summer. Although Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the situation on the frontline as “very difficult” in his Sunday evening address to Ukrainian citizens, Russian forces have yet to encircle the city. This months-long battle for Bakhmut...

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the network of pharmacies run by businessmen Alpesh and Manish Patel was struggling...One top executive had previously been convicted for his role in running a national opioid pill mill; two others, including Manish Patel himself, were barred from doing business with federal health-care programs due to allegations ranging from racketeering to conspiracy to paying illegal kickbacks. But then the pandemic presented an opportunity: loosened rules for telehealth and long-distance prescription writing combined with massive demand for unproven COVID-19 treatments could mean big money. And the Patels soon capitalized. First, they were able to take advantage of...

In spite of pleas from Sen. Lisa Murkowski and others, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Coast Guard still say that fishing personnel must wear masks aboard boats. For many Alaska fishermen, having a mask over their nose and mouth during fishing operations is akin to being waterboarded, as wet, slimy masks are difficult to breathe through, create visual barriers, and prevent communication.[CUT]National Fisherman provided its readers with a list of activities in which wearing a mask would create a safety hazard for onboard workers:On-deck tasks which necessitate removing a mask to perform duties due to safety hazards...

The national page for the Black Lives Matter movement has updated several sections of their website, including the removal of a page that features a paragraph about the disruption of the 'Western nuclear family.' The grassroot organization - that works mostly in local, chapter-based, groups - removed several pages from their about section in the cleanup, according to an archive of their website. Included in the removal was the site's 'What We Believe' page and pages providing biographies of the national chapter leadership and co-founders. Internet archives suggest that the website was updated on September 17.

It is well chronicled that Hillary Clinton is a teetering old sot, corrupt as the day is long and the personification of evil. Amongst her other less endearing qualities there’s the oft-reported fact that she has body odor that can clear a room. (Use search engine ‘duckduckgo’ enter Hillary smells bad and see for yourself. Predictably only snopes claims this is untrue) She’s a horribly unpleasant and unlikable person with violent temper to boot.

President Trump claimed Wednesday that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. was not protected by congressional "immunity" when he made threatening comments toward Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh at a pro-abortion rally outside the court, suggesting that Schumer was in line for some kind of punishment. In a phone interview on "Hannity", the president compared Schumer's remarks to the "parody" of his July 25 phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky orated by Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., during a congressional hearing last year.

A laboratory in Wuhan is on the cusp of being cleared to work with the world’s most dangerous pathogens. The move is part of a plan to build between five and seven biosafety level-4 (BSL-4) labs across the Chinese mainland by 2025, and has generated much excitement, as well as some concerns. Some scientists outside China worry about pathogens escaping, and the addition of a biological dimension to geopolitical tensions between China and other nations. But Chinese microbiologists are celebrating their entrance to the elite cadre empowered to wrestle with the world’s greatest biological threats. “It will offer more opportunities...

Back in March, Adam Schiff said that he had more than ample evidence showing collusion with Russia. He also have sustained that “[Impeachment is] not the end game. I think the speaker has made very clear that in the absence of compelling evidence that there isn’t going to be an impeachment.” Meanwhile Schiff’s committee has continued to further probe Trump and investigate after special counsel Robert Mueller’s report was delivered to Attorney General William Barr on Friday. Today when Attorney General published the Mueller report, Schiff said: "Whether these acts are criminal or not, whether the obstruction of justice was...

A well-known story says that when President Lincoln met Harriet Beecher Stowe, he remarked, “So you are the little woman who wrote the book that started this great war.” Stowe’s 1852 novel, “Uncle Tom’s Cabin”—with its melodrama of Eliza’s flight across the ice, of Simon Legree’s cruelty, of Uncle Tom’s martyrdom—had so roused American feelings on the subject of slavery that nothing less than a great civil war could have done justice to either the crime or the novel. “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” was a supreme work of moral sentimentality—of feelings stirred to noble and lethal purposes. The story tore sentimental...

Scientists recently discovered a rare and important hagfish fossil that includes traces of preserved slime dating to 100 million years ago. Eyeless, jawless hagfish — still around today — are bizarre, eel-like, carrion-eating fishes that lick the flesh off dead animals using their spiky tongue-like structures. But their most well-known feature is the sticky slime that they expel for protection. And now, scientists know that hagfish slime is robust enough to leave traces in the fossil record, finding remarkable evidence in a fossilized hagfish skeleton excavated in Lebanon. ..." The fossil dates to the late Cretaceous period (145.5 million to...

(snip) -- So-called “conservative” commentator Bill Kristol reportedly has his never-ending campaign to take down President Donald Trump receive funding from a left-wing billionaire. Kristol, the editor-at-large of The Weekly Standard, seems to have taken his never-Trump activities to another level, actively opposing Republican candidates and conservative causes through the group he founded, “Republicans for the Rule of Law.” But despite its name, the group seems to have no Republican donors according to a report by Julie Kelly of American Greatness, though there is one prominent benefactor: progressive billionaire Pierre Omidyar, the co-founder of eBay. One of Omidyar’s nonprofits, the...

Less than a week after making a stink about freedom of the press, President Trump and 'enemies of the people, CNN and apparently other news outlets have decided to get into the harassment business given that reporting news is just not good enough for them. Seriously, they tried to do this: In a motion filed in federal court on Thursday, CNN and several other media outlets requested that the court release the names and home addresses of all jurors in the Paul Manafort fraud case. Jurors haven not yet rendered a verdict on any of the 18 charges against...

The team of opposition researchers behind the infamous anti-Trump dossier embraced by the FBI were paid big bucks to continue trying to dig up dirt on Russian meddling in American politics – even after the 2016 presidential election. That revelation, buried inside a 243-page report released by House Intelligence Committee Republicans last week, has sparked new speculation about the identities of the secretive donors who were funding the post-election project. According to the House Intelligence Committee report, Daniel J. Jones – the president of the Penn Quarter Group and a former staffer for Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein – “secured the...
