President Trump campaigned on reforming the broken and corrupt WOKE Department of Education, which has been infiltrated by radical zealots and Marxists. They destroyed the greatest education system in the world. Make Education Great Again. Once a beacon for education the world over, we can thank the Democrats that we now rank on the bottom of math and sciences in industrialized nations. But not to worry, our sexualized tots will be experimenting with transgenderism and Gd knows what. 23.1 percent of Californians over age 15 cannot read this sentence. Jimmy Carter’s passing, the left has gone to absurd and Orwellian lengths to rewrite his legacy, attempting to transform him into a mythical great president. However, those who lived through his presidency know better. ... It really is up to us to cut through all the noise of the obligatory tributes that are pouring in to make sure that his failings aren’t forgotten. Among those who aren’t using Carter’s death as an excuse to forget those failings is CNN commentator Scott Jennings, who minced no words in labeling Carter a “terrible president” with a “big ego.” Jennings argued that Carter’s...

And Carter and Biden have a lot in common. ... On his way out the door, the media continues to insist that Biden is a good man. And that Carter, despite presiding over one of the worst administrations in history, was a good man. Biden and Carter had many things in common, record unpopularity, crooked brothers, and empowering Islamic terrorists, but decency was never one of them. Joe Biden was not a good man. Neither was Jimmy Carter. Carter ran for office promising an administration “that’s turned away from scandal and corruption and official cynicism and is once again as...

The 84-year-old, who was six when she played Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed's daughter, was orphaned at 15 and later lost a son to suicide, didn't even see the Christmas classic until she was 40. For most of each year, Karolyn Grimes leads the sort of quiet, family-centric life that one might expect any retired 84-year-old grandmother to lead — but come December, that all changes. Indeed, when The Hollywood Reporter connected with her by telephone last week, the Seattle resident was, for the 22nd time, being celebrated at a festival in Seneca Falls, New York, and she would soon...

To say I was not a fan of Jimmy Carter would be an understatement, but today he turns 100. In comparison to Biden and the progressive death grip on today’s Democratic Party, he looks a whole lot better in retrospect. Cy Vance, Harold Brown, and Zbigniew Brzezinski were head and shoulders above Biden’s senior foreign and defense policy appointees Blinken, Austin, and Sullivan. It is possible to speak well of some of Carter’s deeds (as Phil Gramm does today in the Wall Street Journal), such as deregulating or partially deregulating transportation and other basic sectors of the economy. Here’s a chart...

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Jimmy Buffett is being remembered the world over for his music. Buffett grew-up in Mobile and passed away Friday night after a long battle with skin cancer. This weekend, we’re also getting a glimpse of his philanthropy. He anonymously donated two of his planes to Battleship Memorial Park last year. It’s a gesture both steeped in Buffett lore and continues the park’s educational mission. The two aircraft have been assembled for months inside the Medal of Honor Pavillion. Whenever someone asked who donated them, people in the know would sheepishly say it was anonymous, all the...

Thanks to his impassioned late-night pleas about health care and gun control, CNN has called Jimmy Kimmel “America’s conscience.” Jimmy Kimmel? This is the man who, along with bro-tastic podcaster Adam Carolla, brought you the Juggies, women in skimpy bikinis who ended each episode of The Man Show by bouncing on trampolines.... A friend insists that Kimmel has transformed from a chauvinistic joker into an empathetic conversationalist. (The friend, in this case, is Howard Stern.) There’s a lot that New Howard has left behind. When his show moved to satellite radio in 2004, Old Howard was like a kid in...

Over the course of his long political career, two presidents have shaped the way Joe Biden thinks about a conundrum every commander in chief must face: How do you get credit for your successes? His conclusion is simple: You need to claim your victories, and not just quietly or occasionally. You have to talk about what you’ve done and how it’s helped people, over and over again, in every public situation imaginable.

(CNN)Jimmy Carter, the son of a Georgia peanut farmer who'd go on to be America's 39th president, turns 96 today. He's the oldest living former US president -- and he's outlived every other occupant of the Oval Office. At 96, the Nobel Peace Prize winner remains the longest-living president in US history, surpassing George H. W. Bush, who died in 2018 at 94. Carter's kept busy since his last birthday. He was hospitalized for much of the latter half of 2019 to recover from brain surgery, infections and two falls. His health woes forced him to stop teaching Sunday school...

People in Iran.. are fleeing Islam in droves as believers bow their knee to Jesus .. Sheep Among Wolves ... God is moving powerfully inside of Iran ... the best evangelist for Jesus was the Ayatollah Khomeini.. The ayatollahs brought the true face of Islam to light and people discovered it was a lie...After 40 years under Islamic law — a utopia according to them — they’ve had the worst devastation in the 5,000-year history...

The Carters spent just four years in the White House during troubled times and almost four decades out of it redefining what a former president and first lady can accomplish. Jimmy Carter was president from 1977 to 1981 and he won a Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his humanitarian work. They have broken every record: Jimmy Carter, 95, is the oldest living American president and he and Rosalynn have the longest presidential marriage in history. They celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary on July 7, 2019. They have been married longer than Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have been alive....

Former President Jimmy Carter said Sunday during a church service in Plains, Georgia, that he “was absolutely and completely at ease with death” after doctors informed him in 2015 that his cancer had spread to his brain. “I assumed, naturally, that I was going to die very quickly,” the 39th president said while delivering a church sermon. “I obviously prayed about it. I didn’t ask God to let me live, but I asked God to give me a proper attitude toward death. And I found that I was absolutely and completely at ease with death.”

At the age of 95, Jimmy Carter is now the longest-living U.S. president in history. “Great men are a dime a dozen,” MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough noted on the former president’s birthday. “Jimmy Carter has always been something far greater than that. He has lived his life as a good man. And that is exactly what America needs right now.” Now, I realize the Trump-obsessed Scarborough is attempting to juxtapose the former president with the present one. But the canonization of Carter has always been transparent revisionism. Habitat for Humanity or not, the world would have been a far better place...

A phone call to a wrong number in Nebraska delivered just what a man in pain needed: a ride to a hospital...Her brother is a veteran living on disability and didn't have Department of Veterans Affairs' approval to call an ambulance, she said. He also couldn't afford a taxi to a hospital, she said...It took Nagengast a little while to realize she hadn't reached her brother's social worker... Voss called delivery driver Zach Hillmer, who picked up Holeman and drove him to a hospital emergency room. Hillmer, a U.S. Navy veteran, said it was a privilege to help a fellow...

Roseanne Barr advised Trump-hating comedian Jimmy Kimmel to “zip that f***en lip” unless he’s actively rooting for the United States to fail. Barr made the remarks while promoting the upcoming reboot of “Roseanne,” the hit TV series she starred in from 1988 to 1997. During her interview, leftist comedian Kimmel reminded Roseanne that she was once a liberal supporter of Hillary Clinton. Barr — part of an underreported group of Americans who became Trump supporters thanks to Hillary — said she’s still the same person, but today’s “liberals” have become so radical and so far-left they turned her off. “I’m...

In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, the skeletons in other celebrities’ closets have been coming out. Twitter user Austen Fletcher shared an old clip of Jimmy Kimmel (from The Man Show) playing a game with women on the street where they had to guess what’s in his pants using their hands.
