Thanks to his impassioned late-night pleas about health care and gun control, CNN has called Jimmy Kimmel “America’s conscience.”

This is the man who, along with bro-tastic podcaster Adam Carolla, brought you the Juggies, women in skimpy bikinis who ended each episode of The Man Show by bouncing on trampolines....
A friend insists that Kimmel has transformed from a chauvinistic joker into an empathetic conversationalist.
(The friend, in this case, is Howard Stern.)
There’s a lot that New Howard has left behind. When his show moved to satellite radio in 2004, Old Howard was like a kid in a topless lesbian candy store -- everything that the FCC had denied him was now fair game. If you longed for porn stars riding vibrating gizmos, humiliated members of the Wack Pack, or games like the Biggest Whore Contest, Old Howard had a show for you.
New Howard would like you to forget all that.You might have trouble finding those older bits on YouTube or other online outlets--someone in Sternland has been working hard to scrub the Internet of audio that New Howard regrets. It’s out there, but you’re going to have to work for it. Fans still find ways to share classic files on torrent sites, but those efforts are pretty underground. Kimmel, Stern, Colbert, Myers, Fallon, Noah....all court jesters for the Democrats. They are not funny or interesting.
About sums it up. They are establishment trolls who claim to be comedians or cutting edge to push the same crap the universities and media do.

America has noticed. You know who has better ratings than Kimmel, Fallon, and Colbert? Greg Gutfeld.
Kimmel is a pretty good game-show host. Maybe that should be his permanent gig.

FWIW, Stern was never funny.
When Jackie left, the show went downhill.
When Artie left and Howard went to XM, he jumped the shark/became inconsequential and non-relevant.
I simply can't find Gutfeld funny. I understand why what he's saying ought to be funny, and his delivery isn't bad, but I just couldn't find him funny.
(My working hypothesis is that Conservatism, by its very nature, can't be funny.)
Those rare times I've seen Gutfeld in "serious mode," he seemed remarkably well spoken, so it's not like I had anything against the man or his values.
His "The Five" show is... disappointing. Perhaps he's just not my "cup of tea."
I do wish him all the best, and would be elated to see him effecting a change.

Jimmy Kimmel and Howard Stern can be called many things but amusing isn’t one of them they are pro loser team leaders.
I’ve never even seen Jimmy Kimmel. Couldn’t pick him out of an inner city lineup. I’ve heard Howard Stern, and am always amazed that he ever got beyond emptying waste baskets at a radio station. He’s one of the most boring people on earth.
Rush Limbaugh explored “making conservatism funny,” which mostly involves pointing out the absurdity and stupidity of the other side.
Also his collections of left-wing-media Talking Points, so obviously sent out from Liberal Intellectual Headquarters, were somewhat funny and extremely interesting, educational, and ironic.

State ru/state approved humor is funny. That’s all Kimmel and stern are doing here and they are not funny. Never were. This from a NYer who had stern o drive time back in the early 80s. He was never funny to me
Why would you judge conservatives’ humor by Gutfeld? He’s not even culturally conservative. Greg Gutfeld is not funny. He guffaws and screams
He uses scatalogical humor but in a bad way. Not funny.
What Gutfeld is 100% right about is laughing about leftist ideology and outcomes. It’s what Mel Brooks did/does unwittingly.
Gutfeld had a late night show red eye. Fox played it way too late and Gutfeld put in too much of his disgusting not funny humor. It was a great show. He had on up and coming media and political personalities of the day and led the talk. He had a side kick to keep it light.
It was a dark studio with a high top round table. It was the hosts and guests of the fox day gathering at happy hour to bounce ideas left and right
It was a gem. That’s where Gutfeld is funny. Appreciating their humor and ideas.
Complete insanity that Gutfeld did not see what he had there and fox is stupid for not working that.
