America has noticed. You know who has better ratings than Kimmel, Fallon, and Colbert? Greg Gutfeld.
Kimmel is a pretty good game-show host. Maybe that should be his permanent gig.
I simply can't find Gutfeld funny. I understand why what he's saying ought to be funny, and his delivery isn't bad, but I just couldn't find him funny.
(My working hypothesis is that Conservatism, by its very nature, can't be funny.)
Those rare times I've seen Gutfeld in "serious mode," he seemed remarkably well spoken, so it's not like I had anything against the man or his values.
His "The Five" show is... disappointing. Perhaps he's just not my "cup of tea."
I do wish him all the best, and would be elated to see him effecting a change.

Modern Kimmel would stop the show and award extra points to the minority candidate while lecturing his opponents on white privilege.
