Is that the only seat gained or are there others in this redistricting?

Wait a minute. Yesterday it was 7 turncoat senators. Today it’s ok? Please explain. Don’t lie to me.

Jim Clyburn should have resigned years ago for his role in bringing us Joe Biden, Clyburn has caused great harm to this country

Democrats had one seat in South Carolina.
Now its gone.
But we have ways to go in redistricting to catch up with New England where states like Massachusetts, Maine etc all have ZERO Republican seats in the House despite Republicans winning approximately 40% of the vote.

Let Clyburn move to Florida and fight with Debbie Wasserman.

Glad to see that Caroline Wren was wrong on Steve Bannon’s war room podcast yesterday, and I bet she couldn’t be happier about being wrong either. She has been playing a role in this redistricting endeavor.

Thank goodness there are rules about having to live in a district you represent for a period of time, a rule that the DEMs always respect. /s

I guess what happened to Massie and them RINO State senators in Indiana put the fear of God into the RINOS in South Carolina.

You have to live in the state, not necessarily the actual district.

This is incorrect reporting. Takes three readings and votes per rules. They convene Tuesday for another vote. RINOs are trying to delay it enough that it goes past Wednesday so it won’t be in time for this yrs primaries. Early voting starts next week.

Actual Republican candidates still have to win those seats.

Never underestimate the GOP’s ability to lose winnable races.

Grok:

“No, it has not fully passed into law yet.
scstatehouse.gov
Here's the current status as of May 23, 2026:

House: Passed the bill (H. 5683) with the new map on May 20, 2026, by votes of roughly 74-37 (along party lines).
ballotpedia.org
Senate: Advanced the bill significantly today. It passed second reading by a 27-17 vote (as reported in the Nick Sortor post and other updates). Debate has been ongoing over the weekend, including cloture motions.
x.com
The bill is now headed toward a third reading (final Senate passage), expected soon—possibly by Wednesday.
x.com

Next Steps Needed for It to Become Law

Final (third) passage in the Senate.
Governor Henry McMaster’s signature (he's supportive and called the special session).

Even if it passes, there are complications: potential legal challenges (gerrymandering/Voting Rights Act claims), voter confusion, and timing issues since early voting for primaries starts soon (some ballots already cast under the old map). The proposal also includes delaying the U.S. House primaries to August 18.
scdailygazette.com
This matches the momentum in the video/post you shared, but it's one major step (Senate second reading) away from completion—not fully enacted. Things are moving fast over the holiday weekend.”

We are going to win it.

“Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn’s seat is about to flip RED!”

It couldn’t happen to a more corrupt, deserving, congress critter.
