President Trump campaigned on reforming the broken and corrupt WOKE Department of Education, which has been infiltrated by radical zealots and Marxists. They destroyed the greatest education system in the world. Make Education Great Again.

Once a beacon for education the world over, we can thank the Democrats that we now rank on the bottom of math and sciences in industrialized nations. But not to worry, our sexualized tots will be experimenting with transgenderism and Gd knows what.

President Trump may use his executive powers to gut the Department of Education and then push for legislation to abolish it as part of his administration’s efforts to shrink the size of government, according to a report.

Trump administration officials are reportedly in talks about using an executive order to shut down nearly all of the agency’s functions

On the campaign trail, Trump regularly took issue with the Department of Education and pledged to have it shuttered, if elected.

Used to be the teachers unions would say “At least you children aren’t ignorant.”

But now, ignorance is the desired outcome in the public schools.

It is nuts in my city.

The high schools perform way below average in reading, especially math, and in science. Sometimes into the teens.

And guess what? The high schools have 92 percent graduation rates and some better than that.

Functional illiterates are graduating, and now it shows in the workplace and in every aspect of life.

I agree that this needs to be done but...there are already multiple lawsuits on other issues such as the FBI J6 list. Agents are suing because they say its for retribution (premature, yes..in other words “Not Ripe”) but the same thing will happen with everything that is done...only a matter of time and they’ll get a commie judge that will issue TRO’s stopping the reforms dead that will drag on and on, and then whaddya know, 4 years has passed and the cases will be still in court dormant. I hope I’m wrong, but this is what I see starting to happen as we speak

Created in 1980 the Dept of Education has managed, despite $274,000,000,000 annual budget, to reduce the level of education in the US below where it was in 1979.

Past time for this dreadful mistake to be ended

Many of the leftist legal outfits receive funding directly or indirectly by federal grants.

We are in a race—can we defund them before they start litigating—or break them so they cannot continue it...

That is one reason why President Trump has a sense of urgency in stopping federal grants of all kinds.
