WHITEHALL, OH (WCMH) -- A Whitehall teenager is due in court Tuesday morning on charges that he stole eggs from the nest of a Canada Goose. Andre Teague, 18, was holding a rolled up shirt in his hands when police stopped him early in the morning of April 17. When he dropped the shirt, two large eggs fell out and hit the pavement. ALKMAAR, Netherlands, - A Netherlands public broadcaster shared a clip of its video drone being smacked out of the sky by an aggressive goose. RTV Noord-Holland, which shared the clip on YouTube, said the Egyptian goose apparently saw the drone as a rival when it was flying over the Oudorperpolder area of Alkmaar. The bird came in low to knock the device out of the sky. The drone did not appear to be seriously damaged and was able to make a relatively smooth landing.

Old Lyme — The goose with the arrow through its head that was spotted earlier this year is continuing to evade capture by town animal control officials. The bird stood out Friday in a flock of fellow geese near High Hopes, a horse farm on Town Woods Road. Old Lyme assistant animal control officer Lizabeth Gode said the goose is able to fly, which has thwarted attempts to capture it. She said officials have tried using nets and food to lure the goose, to no avail.
