Who will win Florida's 29 EVs? Current Projection: Trump +0.1, Weak GOP Gain Updated September 21, 2016 Race Overview Updated September 12, 2016 - The Sunshine State is painted pink today after a pair of polls pushed the aggregate average just barely into Trump territory. Five polls have been released in September, and they all show a very competitive race here. Trump's advantage is thanks to a JMC Analytics poll giving him a 4-point edge. The other four polls all show the margin at 1 or 2 points or tied. As always, the drama will be thick in Florida on...

Through passive listening posts operated within central Wisconsin The US Mat makes the following projection where there are no local contests in the April 1st Wisconsin election    It will be a lightly attended Wisconsin non partisan -/ party primary election held on April Fools Day Tuesday April 1st. when Madison area resident Supreme Court Justice  Louis Butler will whip opponent Burnett county Circut court Appeals judge Michael Gableman for a 10 year term on the Supreme Court by a whopping 14 points.   The low turnout was because the average Wisconsin voter was engulfed in snow and dashed dreams of Wisconsin winding up...

Fellow immigrant to Minnesota Coldheartedtruth was correct on 49 out of the 50 states. He thought that Bush would narrowly win Wisconsin, but conceded that it was a batttleground state. He also had some good reflections about the validity of various polls. Federal Review predicted Wisconsin for Bush. Federal Review added something to the proceedings by running computer simulations of the elections based on the margin of error of the polls and some other factors. I hereby declare Coldheartedtruth and Federal Review to be the winners of the election site shootout. Congrats!

In the end... Coldheartedtruth.com projected 14 battleground states using a somewhat lengthy spreadsheet to calculate who would win and by how much. The top line is that this spreadsheet calculated 13 of those 14 states correctly... missing only Wisconsin. But more impressively the spreadsheet called 6 of the 15 races within 1 point of the final actual result. One state was 1.01 point off the final result and another was at 1.07 point off. Right there we have 57% of the calculated states within 1.07 points of the final result. 4 of the remaining 6 states were under 2.77 points...

A 2000 Repeat?  Bush 48.9  Kerry 48.9April 13, 2004 The race for president is currently a tie, with each candidate pulling 48.9% of the vote in the fully allocated April 13 Federal Review Composite Poll. Bush has kept it close in a tough news week for him and the country, largely due to a 4 point lead in the Gallup poll, a substantial lead in the Iowa Electronic Market and the results of last week’s Composite Poll in which Bush held a slight lead. Other polls, however, including Newsweek and FoxNews show Kerry with a 4 and 1 point lead,...
