WASHINGTON (GOPUSA News) -- A few hundred people braved the damp cold in Washington on Saturday to wave American flags and cheer speakers on the National Mall. The "Patriot's Rally for America" was organized by the D.C. Chapter of The Free Republic, a conservative activist group. About 150 backers of President Bush's policy toward Iraq gathered in the gray, slushy cold near the Washington Monument yesterday to express support for U.S. military forces gathering in the Persian Gulf and to urge the prompt ouster of Saddam Hussein.

The group (A.N.S.W.E.R) is organizing a protest at the White House on Saturday, March 1st. They are calling it the "Emergency Convergence at the White House". I have linked their release (do not want to take up space by posting their garbage) regarding their protest, in the hope that the D.C. chapter of FR will take note and prepare accordingly.
