As I recall, the original star, Michael Moriarity, also left due to "creative differences," after he publicly criticized the producer's support of the Clinton Administration.

I love Fred Thompson, but I stopped watching Law and Order when they did an episode on an "evil" gun dealer that could have been written by Sarah Brady.

Law and Odor is really pc crap on fridays and most wednesdays. On Sunday it's actually pretty good.
