There is something seriously wrong with a government, and its people, when they cannot count votes in what one would expect to be a reasonable time frame. What's a reasonable time frame? France, as an example, can say who won a presidential election by early morning of the next day, at the latest. In CA, as of right now, only about 58% of some estimated 8 million plus votes have been counted. And the LA primary for mayor? Still counting. I'll assume that this counting is not even by hand (as in France, I believe) but by "sophisticated" machines, and...

Sequence of events: 1. last October, a report was filed with JPM Chase that a customer's contact info was compromised after someone called pretending to be from Chase, and spoofing one of their branch phone numbers - supposedly, a note was placed on the account as a flag. 2. late last month the customer's debit card info was stolen; the debit card is ONLY ever used at two specific Chase branches, and ATMs (and is otherwise kept at home); people have been observed loitering in the bank's lobby, near the ATMs, and after hours - could these people be there,...

Hello, all. I'm considering spending winters in Jacksonville Beach, FL; mainly because I'm tired of the NE winters, this one being particularly bad. Based on some research I've done, it seems that it may be possible to live within walking (or biking) distance of stores for basic food items, restaurants, etc. (which is what I'm able to do now, and would like to have). JAX airport appears to be about 40 minutes from the beach area, which is not too bad, and the flight down from the NE is only about 2.5 hours which is also nice.

A rough draft of a speech I think POTUS should make: My fellow Americans; just over a year ago, I was overwhelmingly elected on a law-and-order platform that included a promise to stop the invasion of our country by aliens who were allowed, and incentivized, to enter by the previous administration. I promised to enforce our immigration laws, already on the books, and this includes deportations primarily and initially focused on some of the worst, known, criminals. It should be no surprise to you, the people, that I have acted to fulfill my promise because a country without protected borders...

It seems to me that what’s been lost in the discussion about the fedgov shutdown is the fact that this country has been operating under “omnibus” CRs for some time. The proper appropriations process seems to be a forgotten function of Congress, what do we pay these people for? Even under Republican control, there seems to be no desire to do what should be done regarding funding the government; not even “King” Trump has spoken on this issue (as far as I know), and nothing from loudmouths such as Rand Paul, Tom Massie, or MTG, why? Of course, this how...

Mayor Eric Adams of New York City announced on Sunday that he would abandon his foundering campaign for a second term, upending the race to lead the nation’s largest city just five weeks before Election Day.

Does anyone know if a grand jury has been impaneled to hear any or all of this, or is it all just BS.

And what the truth is (IMO), is what I explained here The "Great Reset" That Is Needed, three+ years ago. In essence, Epstein weaved a web, and numerous “elites” have been caught in it; think of the material on Hunter Biden’s laptop, and multiply it by 100s. There likely isn’t a formal “list,” there doesn’t need to be one, all of the “right” people know who else is on the list, and somewhere, at the apex of all of this, is some unknown entity or entities that is the gatekeeper for the compromising information that’s been stored/archived in various media...

New York is planning to build the nation’s first new major nuclear power plant in more than 15 years, Gov. Kathy Hochul said Monday. The “zero-admission advanced” plant in an upstate New York location still to be determined would generate 1 gigawatt of electricity — enough to juice up to 1 million homes, Hochul said. “If we don’t increase New York’s electricity supply in a major way, we’re going to risk losing our opportunities,” Hochul told a crowd outside the Niagara Power Project, a generating facility downstream from Niagara Falls. “They can go elsewhere, but we want them here.” The...

Four years ago, I posted this: https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3897586/posts With the following info: Thought I'd report what I've observed in Manhattan today. Early voting started and at one particular location, on the Upper East Side, the line to vote has encircled the entire building from around 10 a.m. until now - so, two street and two avenue blocks, entirely. Yes, there is "social distancing" but this is unbelievable (someone said it takes about 5 hours to vote). On the assumption that the voting pattern for the neighborhood holds, one has to wonder what is motivating these people, their candidate (really??) or pure...

Discover the “Joy” Of: 1. high inflation, and its effects on your wallet 2. wide-open borders; incidentally, it wasn’t that long ago that Mayorkas, et al, proclaimed that everything was okay at the border. The very fact that the “border czar” now rejects this title makes it easy for everyone (including her voters) to understand, simply, the border was never secure after they took over. 3. paying (in more ways than one) to support millions of illegal immigrants who all happen to be “asylum seekers.” But, on the bright side, one can buy slices of tropical fruits and bottles of...

One name being bandied about to replace Joe Biden is Michelle Obama; the speculation here, on both the left and right, is making me wonder, what qualifies this presumably front-hole person to be POTUS? I mean, should she not, at the very least, have been elected dog-catcher first? How about managing a Chick-fil-A, a lemonade stand? I think, however, that the very idea the Democratic Party (or mouthpieces of) will contemplate or even talk about this possibility tells us a lot about what they think of the office. Clearly, to them, no experience is necessary; NONE, at all. So, why...

As overheard at a secret DC location, in attendance: Derick Garlic (DG) Flake Wray (FW) Andrew Weaselman (AW) Jack Squat (JS) Fanny Gillis (FG) Letitia Games (LG) “Chip Punk” Braggadocio (CPB) -- DG: All right, good to have everyone in the same room; how are our cases going? Jack $hit, go… JS: Can you not call me that? DG: It’s all you got, man; we’ll have some fun, no? Have a laugh! JS: I take this seriously, your DOJ say we must… DG: I know, I know, go on. JS: Well, we have a troublesome judge in the Florida case,...

Oh, oh Oh Huh Uh Please allow me to introduce myself I’m the gang of wealth and fear I’ve been around for a long, long years Stole many votes to win campaigns If I was ‘round when Jesus Christ Had his moment of doubt and pain Be damn sure that Pilate Would have a D behind his name Pleased to meet you Hope you guess my name But what’s puzzling you Is what’s my end game Stuck around as the Ku Klux Klan During a time of much change Scared the coloreds and the blacks Still they vote in my...

1. "Georgette" would be performing in drag shows for kindergartners and be wildly acclaimed, and supported, by the media and fellow politicians 2. would easily get hammered with a Pelosi 3. would be called an Admiral and be made Surgeon General 4. would give Chuck U. Schumer a tough challenge in a primary 5. could be Hunter Biden-like in his excesses, sleep with Chinese spies, stash gold bars in his home, and NO ONE would care 6. dressed in drag, would have his hair sniffed by POTUS 7. would be embraced as a genuine feminist by the hags of "The...

The following assumes that there is a political party that genuinely doesn’t want the same outcomes as the other; alas, the evident and pervasive corruption of DC suggest otherwise. Proper and concerted opposition to what’s happening in the country, however, will (and should) proceed as follows: 1. In an attempt to preserve this republic, to maintain confidence in the outcome of elections, and to ensure the consent of the governed, the US House MUST immediately investigate the various irregularities of the 2020 general election. More specifically, the question as to why counting stopped, almost simultaneously, in several swing states and...

Whenever I see an article, headline, etc., about a same-sex couple (husbands or wives); I am reminded of the following scene from Fawlty Towers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AygIe_C_tSU So, I thought I’d write the following parody of Fawlty (of the 1970s) dealing with a same-sex couple, based on the scene above, and the characters created by Mr. John Cleese, and Ms. Connie Booth (with apologies to both). (Two men walk in the main doors.) Sybil: Good evening. Man 1: Good evening. I telephoned earlier, we are two husbands. Sybil: Oh yes. There hasn't been a cancellation, I'm afraid, so it is still a...
