"Loyalty to the Ds" - A Parody of the Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil"

Oh, oh
Oh
Huh
Uh

Please allow me to introduce myself
I’m the gang of wealth and fear
I’ve been around for a long, long years
Stole many votes to win campaigns

If I was ‘round when Jesus Christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Be damn sure that Pilate
Would have a D behind his name

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what’s puzzling you
Is what’s my end game

Stuck around as the Ku Klux Klan
During a time of much change
Scared the coloreds and the blacks
Still they vote in my name

I rode a wave
For the power I crave
When the sixties raged
Did you see my slaves

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name, oh yeah
Ah, what’s puzzling you
Is what’s my end game, oh yeah (woo woo, woo woo)

I watch with glee
While my thugs and queers
Fight many decades
For evils I instigate (woo woo, woo woo)

I shouted out
Who killed the Kennedys?
Well after all
It was done for me (who who, who who)

Let me please introduce myself
I’m the gang of wealth and fear
And I lay traps with inquisitors
Who can pronounce guilt in every way (woo woo, who who)

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah (who who)
But what’s puzzling you
Is what’s my end game, oh yeah, it’s done, people (who who, who who)

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But what’s confusing you
Is just what is my end game (who who, who who)

Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails
Just call me Demon-crat
‘Cause I will never be restrained (who who, who who)

So just vote for me
Show some fealty
Have some loyalty, oh my base (woo woo)
Use all your well-learned politesse
As I lay this country to waste, um yeah (woo woo, woo woo)

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, um yeah (who who)
But what’s puzzling you
Is what’s my end game, um, burning it down (woo woo, woo woo)

Woo, who
Oh yeah, burn it down
Oh yeah

Tell me people, what’s my name
Tell me comrades, can ya guess my name
me people, what’s my name
I tell you, there’s a D in my name

Oh, who
Woo, woo
Woo, who
Woo, woo
Woo, who, who
Woo, who, who
Oh, yeah

What’s my name
Tell me, people, what’s my name
Tell me, comrades, what’s my name

Woo, who, who
Woo, who, who
Woo, who, who
Woo, who, who
Woo, who, who
Woo, who, who
Oh, yeah
Woo woo
Woo woo

By the way, the use of this song (GNR version) at the end of "Interview with the Vampire" was a very nice touch...

Oddly enough, the Stones themselves dislike playing it, as when they do, “weird and bad things happen.” For example, the Altamont Free Concert.
