From my AI discussion:

BUTCHER'S THUMB — June 21st, 2026

This week’s butcher’s thumb shows a heavy emphasis on energy policy, foreign affairs, and bipartisan Senate voices. Multiple networks are leaning on former officials and institutional validators to frame the national conversation. Sunday Morning Futures remains the only program consistently aligned with the GOP’s current leadership.

FACE THE NATION (CBS)
Sen. Linda Graham (R-S.C.); Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.); Amos Hochstein, Biden admin Senior Advisor for Energy Security; Kevin Book, Managing Director at ClearView Energy Partners.
Structural read: CBS is running an “energy security + bipartisan Congress + institutional analysis” hour. Hochstein anchors the administration’s energy narrative, while Graham and Crow provide opposing congressional frames. Book adds technocratic validation.
What to watch: Whether Brennan uses Hochstein to shape the broader energy-policy narrative.

FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network)
Energy Secretary Chris Wright; Danny Danon, Israel’s Ambassador to the U.N.; Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah); Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.). Legal panel: Tom Dupree and Jonathan Turley. Panel: Richard Fowler, Mary Katharine Ham and Tiffany Smiley.
Structural read: Fox is running an “energy + foreign policy + bipartisan Congress + legal analysis” hour. Wright anchors the administration’s energy message, Danon provides international framing, and Lee/Khanna offer ideological contrast. The legal panel adds institutional depth.
What to watch: How Bream balances Wright’s energy messaging with Lee’s constitutional framing.

MEET THE PRESS (NBC)
Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.); former Defense Secretary Mark T. Esper. Panel: Sara Fagen, Susan Glasser, Nia-Malika Henderson and Jeh Johnson.
Structural read: NBC is running a “Democratic leadership + former Pentagon + establishment panel” hour. Booker anchors the Democratic message, while Esper provides institutional defense commentary. The panel leans center-left with heavy emphasis on narrative framing.
What to watch: Whether Welker uses Esper to shape the foreign-policy segment.

THIS WEEK (ABC)
Energy Secretary Chris Wright; former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice. Panel: Donna Brazile, Chris Christie, Sarah Isgur and Faiz Shakir.
Structural read: ABC is running an “energy + national security + bipartisan establishment” hour. Wright returns for a second appearance of the morning, Rice anchors the Democratic foreign-policy segment, and the panel blends center-left voices with pre-Trump GOP figures.
What to watch: Whether ABC frames energy policy as a bipartisan institutional issue.

STATE OF THE UNION (CNN)
“A Look at Fatherhood”: Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.); former governor Mitt Romney (R-Mass.); Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.). Panel: Scott Jennings, Brad Todd, Xochitl Hinojosa and Jamal Simmons.
Structural read: CNN is running a “human-interest + bipartisan Senate + cultural framing” hour. Kelly, Romney, and Scott provide a cross-ideological mix, while the panel leans center-left with Jennings as the primary right-leaning counterweight.
What to watch: How Tapper/Bash uses the Fatherhood theme to soften political contrasts.

SUNDAY MORNING FUTURES (FNC)
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin; Sen. Dave McCormick (R-Pa.); Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.); Evan Greenberg, CEO of Chubb Limited.
Structural read: Futures is running a “border security + GOP leadership + economic/insurance analysis” hour. Mullin anchors the policy segment, McCormick and Luna reinforce congressional alignment, and Greenberg adds a global economic perspective.
What to watch: Whether Bartiromo centers the hour on border policy and economic risk.

Ecosystem Summary
This week’s lineups emphasize energy policy, foreign affairs, and bipartisan congressional voices. Former officials and institutional validators dominate the narrative framing. Futures remains the only program consistently aligned with the GOP’s present priorities.

WHAT’S NOT BEING COVERED:
The ongoing delays and procedural inconsistencies in several states’ ballot-counting processes — a structural issue with national implications that none of the networks are addressing, not even Fox News. The media’s selective silence remains a defining feature of the Sunday ecosystem.

“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

Psalm 91:1 (King James Version)
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

When dealing with scorpions the first job is not getting stung. This is what President Trump is doing with his MOU agreement. He is trying to see if these leaders are serious and if they have the ability to do what they agree to. So far the answer is no as you can see them reneging on allowing the Strait of Hormuz to be open for ships.

He has shown why he only set up guideposts rather than negotiating every detail knowing that can go on for years, now he has shown the world they were never serious or in control in the first place. Now the most important thing is getting the ships out of the strait and filling them back up with oil.

Once again the Iranian fanatics have cut off their noses to spite their face. These are some of the most insane terrorists on the planet with only one goal, the elimination of the Jewish people and an end to America. Small wonder why they are supported by the Dumocrat Party and their allies in Haavaad.

The Dims are claiming nothing has changed and we are right back to where we started this senseless war. Nothing has changed other than the top thirty or forty leaders are no longer shouting Alah alah snackbar and death to America and the supposed leader now has lost his leg or both legs and his husband in the attacks. He became head targe…er….Mullah just in time for Gay Pride Month, what were the odds.

No, nothing has changed other than a change in leadership, the loss of their navy, air force, and air defenses as well as fifty thousand military targets hit. This included all of their weapons industries, military infrastructure, and of course the husband of the head Mullah. It is dire times in the gay bars of Tehran or whichever cave he is calling home.

Thought the Koran was pretty clear about homosexuality however there must be and exception for leadership as opposed to nobodies who get hanged from cranes. No everything is exactly the same as things were before the war started and Iran is just as strong as they were before the war.

Why negotiate the parts after you join the civilized war if you have no plans of joining civilization. You are a seventh century republic who has a seventh century leadership who wants to kill every infidel on the planet.
They consider moderate Moosetards as those who only want to kill Christian and Jews and leave alone killing Moderate Mooses. This is who Trump is negotiating with and knows it better than any of the liberal Islam lovers.
President Trump is simply trying to get them to agree to the first and most simple step to see if they can be trusted at all. Allowing free passage through the Strait is simple and if they cannot agree to that there is no reason to assume they will allow the other issues such as free passage forever or giving over their nuclear dust.

Let them isolate themselves for the time being and keep the blockade going. The ships sailing there does not cost any more than sailing anywhere else in the world so let them keep their own oil shipments from occurring. Let them starve themselves since this scorpion has had its stinger removed.

Once all the tankers are out of the gulf then it will be just waiting them out while they starve their people and destroy their oil industry. They are becoming weaker and weaker as an economy which can be reversed overnight if they agree to a few of Trump’s demands which may take decades. The world without Iran is a safer world for all. Iranians plan for the long haul while Americans want decisions immediately, Trump is planning long term with these scorpions.

Pray for America’s patience

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

Spot on as usual Bray, but the breakdown of today’s shows are a fascinating way of deciphering the coming spin. I dont know if its wishful thinking on my part but it sure looks like the legacies are getting frustrated at keeping their lies straight.

Good analysis of where we have been and just how tough it is to negotiate with people who never well.... negotiate.

The problem with the mullahs is that they never agree to anything but what they want.

Everything else is just another lie. Just another BS trick to get their way. If it takes a hundred years and millions dead they don't care.

These crazed islamos have to be managed.

If that means every time they screw up you have to bomb them than that's how it is.

It would be nice if the President could make agreements with every neighbor in the region like he is doing now.

If he gets enough countries that are already being bombed for no good reason maybe e they can take over. Others that don't want terrorists anywhere near them might want to play a part in the babysitting of the mullahs.Only than maybe we can do what we should always do when it comes to the mideast:

STAY THE HELL OUT

The Mid-east is no place to be. It's too intertwined with religion, history, tiny little views held by this group but not that group and so much INSANE DRAMA that makes no sense at all its always been a great place to:

NEVER GO TO

Maybe if Trump can talk Iran's neighbors into taking care of business in the region we can get out. That's the only way to get along with that area of the world.Don't ever go there.

Protestors never stop in the mid-east.

This is what you are up against in the mid-east:

Where have the feminists been? They are just Communist flacks to divide the sexes through victimhood and destroy America. You will never see them lift a finger for this girl.

Vance now being shown on FNC in Switzerland for the lake lucerne summit. The more I see of Vance the more I like. I wish they would keep Kushner out of there he does not belong in any of the nations business. He has waaay too much baggage.

Here's the latest:

Albanian Drug Trafficking Investigation Overlaps with Probe into Planned Resort that Sparked ‘Flamingo Revolution’

Protests continue in Albania against a luxury hotel development boosted by Jared Kushner, U.S. President Donald Trump's son in law. Prosecutors are investigating an individual who sold land for the proposed project ............................

On the other hand Vance is doing an excellent job answering every question with and eloquent answer. Vance is a pro at telling the media what has happened and what we are doing where, when and why.

The Hollywood celebrity women ruined feminism with #MeToo,it started with a legit issue but fell apart once the inevitable hypocrisy of the left took over the movement. Of course it didn’t help the cause when many of these same women celebrities after the pandemic decided to take to X or Instagram posting pictures of themselves scantily dressed, or on Only Fans where you see it all for a price. Throw in these whack jobs that went after Kavanaugh and Trump and others and the movement lost its “legitimacy”.

Time for Shannon.

Trump saying there will be no tolls in the straits unless we make them.

Trump tells Iran the straits won't be closed,If they try he will blow them up. Classic Trump. 66 ships are passing through the straits in one day quite nicely says sec. Wright.

US has a separate shipping channel that we are running traffic through with no problems.

IRGC telling shippers they won't be safe coming through the straits. Wright says Iran is still behaving like Iran. Turns out Trump says we are still in charge for anyone who thinks we are not.

Seems Iran will be allowed to collect money from their crude oil sales. Could be a disaster even thought Wright says its not.

If they get any money they will buy weapons and start terrorism again,IMHO.

shannon now quoting the WAPost that Israel will kill peace deal.Typical waPost. ...................................

More Ro connnnuhhhh coming up second worst dirty dem. supreme court looking at lots of big issues over the next few weeks.

Birthright citizenship may not happen unless Constitution is changed.

Can men pretending to be women be a protected class or are they still men in womens sports?

Mail in ballots how long after the election can they be counted. Turley says election day means election day if the court decides to rule that.

Just had the misfortune of catching Susan Rice on This Week, how this woman isn’t relegated to the junk pile of history is astounding. One thing is certain, ABC is not veering from the Trump sucks at Everything narrative 🙄.
