The Lawfare Counteroffensive

The following assumes that there is a political party that genuinely doesn’t want the same outcomes as the other; alas, the evident and pervasive corruption of DC suggest otherwise.

Proper and concerted opposition to what’s happening in the country, however, will (and should) proceed as follows:

1. In an attempt to preserve this republic, to maintain confidence in the outcome of elections, and to ensure the consent of the governed, the US House MUST immediately investigate the various irregularities of the 2020 general election. More specifically, the question as to why counting stopped, almost simultaneously, in several swing states and in specific counties must be explained as the public have a right and deserve to know. To pass on the opportunity will expose the Republican party as either modern day quislings, or Vichy-like collaborators in the destruction of this country.

2. Before a single vote is cast or ballot is even printed, Attorneys General in the various Republican held states must bring a lawsuit before SCOTUS regarding violations of the 14th amendment regarding disparate voting standards in the states (a case similar to the one brought by Texas, et al, following the 2020 election).

Yes, there will be those who argue that states conduct elections and make the rules; however, we cannot in a republican form of government that includes the use of the electoral college, permit some states to have lax standards, e.g., no signature verification, mail-in ballots without date and time stamps, machines that may or may not be connected to the internet, ballot harvesting, vote counting that goes on for days after the election, extended voting periods, changes to voting “laws” that violate the state’s own constitution, etc., because each of these represents the potential for 14th amendment violations of equal protection.

In the Bush v. Gore case of 2000, SCOTUS stopped recounts in Florida because the various counties were using different, non-uniform, standards for counting votes. It is my view that a county within a state, is in the same role as a state within the electoral college, thus, if a county in a state cannot count votes based on some made-up standard because of the potential for 14th amendment violations, why should this be tolerated at the state level? So, what if the state has expressly, and legally authorized what can be easily corrupted procedures? The simple and ONLY test, in my view, should be whether or not said processes present an opportunity to become non-uniform, for example, if a signature verification setting on a machine can be adjusted at the county/precinct level, then said feature cannot be present. Can a machine printing ballots be reprogrammed to print something of a different size? Not acceptable. Do you have drop boxes? Are they monitored? What do you do if people drop in multiple, or bags, of ballots? Nothing? Sorry, can’t have them. Do you have motor voter registrations? Are non-citizens allowed to have a driver’s license? Do you allow non-citizens to vote in some local elections? If yes, prove that there’s no overlap with citizens only voter rolls, otherwise, you’ve got to make changes.

These types of guidelines should not be controversial at all, we want to protect “our democracy” right? But we can be absolutely certain that Democrats will object to every one of these, or similar, ideas; every one. Why? Because they cannot win majority positions on anything if they do not stack the deck. (Incidentally, no one should take lectures about “protecting our democracy” when the DNC runs a completely rigged primary election like it does; no one!) None of these changes will mean a thing, however, if vigilance and accountability over ballots are not possible. There are many allegations that the CIA has played an historical role in rigging elections across the globe, to tip elections in favor of desired regimes or dictators. The most common method is to have pre-filled ballots stashed at counting centers, before votes are cast, or to swap pre-filled ballots boxes for real ones. What if the blithering buffoon, Maxine Waters, exposed the existence of what would enable such a scheme when she said that under Obama, a vast database of voters was created, to paraphase. What would be the purpose of this? Elections are run by states, right? Obviously, only a few counties/precincts in the swing states would really matter and this is the starkest reason why there needs to be proper custody and monitoring of ballots.

3. Regarding the J6 political prisoners, if we had a properly functioning opposition party, there would be prime-time hearings on why these people, every single one of them, is still in prison, and under what conditions and charges. Perhaps it’d not be possible to have the prisoners themselves testify as to their actions on the day, but surely their legal representatives (without jeopardizing their defense), or even family members can do so, and to the extent that video footage exists of the person’s activities, this should be broadcasted, as well.

4. The country is at a precipice, and the problem is, there’s NO ONE who has the gravitas, or the moral authority, to say this bullshit has gone too far, and that we need to step back! There’s no Joseph Welch to proclaim, “You’ve done enough. Have you no sense of decency, Sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?” Without doubt, leftists, communists, and media, of the time, cheered on Welch’s rebuke. But the reference here will be to the Justice Department, and more widely, the Democratic Party. There is a collection of people who, maybe, can make such a statement, and have it carry some weight; a group of retired federal judges.

We will presume that these people, being retired, are likely (hopefully) removed from partisan influences that have infected the federal judiciary over the last dozen or so years. Furthermore, we will assume that they still revere the law, and constitution, and therefore, they should not stand aside and watch the dismantlement of these fundamental underpinnings of this country’s greatness. If 50 hacks can opine in a letter “assessing” Russian “disinformation” regarding a certain laptop, then surely some retired judges can decry the astonishing abuses of the legal system we are currently witnessing. Whether it’s piercing attorney-client privileges, creating indictments after statute of limitations have expired, attempting to disbar lawyers with certain clients, denying due process or first amendment rights, and on, and on; someone, or some group, must step up and be a Joseph Welch. Surely any reasonable person would demand that in the Pres. Trump J6 case, Judge Chutcan ought to be $hitcanned from the case, right? However, there’s been nothing but silence from people in the Republican party. Judge E. Sullivan got away with becoming a prosecutor in the Gen. Flynn case, and no one said a word about this obvious abuse of the justice system either. To understand the utter absurdity of all of this, see Chutkan at the 1:15 mark below, and Sullivan (almost) at the 1:35 mark; all of this is a massive joke, third-world stuff, for sure.

BlackAdder Court-martialed

This country cannot be irreversibly damaged over the obsessive desire to destroy one man; if the attempts are successful, the precedence set will mean that no one has any rights anymore, or is safe from the government’s machinery, so, who’s next?

Pinging out to the Ping! lists that I support.

This essay from Mononymous is pretty good. I didn’t notice any weaknesses in his arguments, and thought that it deserved a wider audience concerning the politics of lawfare.

For those who don’t care, please ignore.

The assumption is incorrect. There is a reason that we have coined the phrase Uni-party. That's because the Uni-party exists. It's real & it's in control. Yes the corruption not only suggests otherwise, it rules that way. It's what is referred to as the Deep State. There is a small sub-set that is fighting this Uni-party, Deep State Leviathan, but many of this board remain utterly clueless. These are the people that supports funding Ukraine, that support someone other than Trump. They will soon earn, but in the meantime this nation will become history relegate to the dustbin.

It’s 3 years later. They’ve passed at every opportunity. So we already know what they are.

“1. In an attempt to preserve this republic..., the US House MUST immediately investigate the various irregularities of the 2020 general election.”

What planet is the author of this living on? The US House hasn’t done anything and it isn’t going to do anything for the people. Dude is preaching to the choir.

These things are being done.

Mike Lindell has been leading the charge with the illegal corrupt voting machines and election integrity issues, and all it has rewarded him with is the destruction of his company. Many look at him as a worthless fool instead of the patriot he is.

Ken Paxton brought just such an issue to the Supreme Court & the Supreme Court ruled that the he & the states that joined him were ruled to that thy had no standing. His reward was getting impeached. He won the trial, but the lawfare against him will continue with renewed vigor.

In case you havened realized it, law & order no longer exists in this nation. The Constitution has ceased to be the governing document of this nation. The USA is no longer a free nation. It's no longer the land of the free, nor the home of the brave.

Heck, most people are still not even aware that they live in a communist country, that is quickly becoming a police state run entirely by corrupt criminals.

Yup

One would hope that at least one of our political parties would be pushing for truly honest elections. But neither party shows any interest in honest elections.

One would hope that at least one of our political parties would step up and say that using lawfare to crush your political opponents is not something we want in this country. But neither party shows any interest in stopping lawfare.

They are in this together.
They don't like outsiders.
They don't like We The People.

Repubs could attach vote security measures to the continuing resolution if the wanted - but they don’t want to.

Brilliant writing!

I would add that this pot has been boiling for a long time. IMHO the ignition of the flame began somewhere in the early to mid sixties (LBJ era). It seems as if the founding fathers missed a few key points in the planning of our republic that allowed this mess to be built.

I don't have any answers on what it will take to fix the problems but I do know one, single Donald J Trump might be a damn good start but it is going to take many DJTs in the future to undo what the self-centered communists, who we have been calling democrats and rinos, have done to our kids' futures......
