Not only is this New York Times op-ed insulting to black people, it’s historically illiterate. It does accomplish the catchy soundbite initiative, which was probably the objective here, but it’s beyond laughable. Behold, folks, we’re in the ‘Juan Crow’ era. That’s right—enforcing generations of immigration laws is now ‘Juan Crow.’ I mean, if you can get through this insanity, power to you: In its merciless pursuit of people without papers — most of them Latino — and its demonization of asylum seekers, refugees, holders of temporary protected status, Muslims and Palestinian rights activists, the Trump administration is accelerating toward a...

The View has abruptly gone on hiatus following co-host Joy Behar’s latest unhinged anti-Trump rant, a tirade so inflammatory that it prompted a warning from the White House. After years of pushing partisan narratives and ridiculing conservative voices, the show may finally be facing real consequences for its unchecked rhetoric. The break comes amid mounting calls for media accountability and a renewed effort by the Trump administration to rein in platforms that use their airtime to smear political opponents under the guise of daytime entertainment. On Thursday, Behar appeared to reveal the show's upcoming hiatus accidentally. "Before we go on...

Republican Congressman Ryan Mackenzie (PA-07) is leaving his Democrat challengers in the dust as he builds momentum heading into the 2026 election. Mackenzie has already out-raised the entire Democratic field combined, a clear sign that grassroots donors and conservative backers are rallying behind his America First, pro-growth agenda that mirrors President Donald Trump's. While Democrats scramble to find a viable contender, Mackenzie is strengthening his war chest and proving himself to be the one to beat in this key battleground district. In the second quarter, Mackenzie raised an impressive $800,000, ending the period with nearly $1.2 million in campaign cash,...

The Democratic Party’s newest star, Zohran Mamdani, was welcomed into the center of political power in America and the world this week, shepherded by “Democratic socialists” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Pramila Jayapal. After winning the Democratic primary to become New York City's next mayor, Mamdani is being nationalized. “Anybody that’s staying out at this point and not endorsing this incredible, dynamic leader is missing an opportunity,” Jaypal told reporters about his Washington, D.C., visit in an effort to get the Democratic Party to endorse Mamdani and his political platform. ”It’s hard not to be won over…it’s really inspiring.” But Mamdani’s ideology...

GOP U.S. Rep. Scott Perry raised nearly $900,000 in the latest campaign fundraising period, while Democratic frontrunner Janelle Stelson raised over $500,000 since jumping into the 2026 race on Monday. Both campaigns released statements touting their second-quarter fundraising totals in what could shape up to be a rematch of the 2024 10th Congressional District general election that Perry won by about 5,100 votes. Patriots for Perry announced that Perry’s $885,000 haul in April, May and June was the most he has ever raised in a non-election year. Perry has $1.2 million in available cash. Perry spent nearly $239,000 in the...

The Transportation Security Administration did not officially start requiring travelers to take off their shoes at the airport until August 2006. That was nearly five years after Richard Reid unsuccessfully tried to ignite explosives in his sneakers on an American Airlines flight from Paris to Miami. The fear of Reid copycats was the ostensible justification for the TSA's seemingly belated shoe rule, which the agency finally ditched last week, nearly two decades after adopting it. The longevity of that widely resented and ridiculed policy, which the U.S. was nearly alone in enforcing, illustrates the ratchet effect at work in security...

There will always be three who give us heartburn. Shockingly, Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), who has become the new John McCain of the Senate regarding being a thorn in the side, opted not to break ranks on the recissions package, which codifies some $9 billion in cuts. The gutting of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and National Public Radio is included in this package, which barely advanced on a key vote to move the bill forward. Vice President JD Vance had to go up to the hill to break the 50-50 tie. Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Susan Collins (R-ME), and...

Trump administration border czar Tom Homan fired up the crowd at Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit Saturday night when a heckler asked Homan, “Are you an MS-13 member?“ But the heckler’s comments added fuel to Homan’s fire as he delivered fiery closing remarks, saying, “Tom Homan is going to run the biggest deportation operation this country has ever seen. Take it to the bank.” “U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A,” the crowd chanted as Homan exited the stage. About five minutes into Homan’s speech, he was interrupted by a heckler who was escorted out by security, lighting a fire for the rest...

WASHINGTON, D. C. - U.S. Rep. Michael Rulli wants to mark the yearly anniversary of the day an assassin tried to shoot President Trump as a national “Faith and Defiance Day.” The Salem, Ohio, Republican announced Friday that he’s introduced a resolution to designate the yearly anniversary of the 2024 attempt on Trump’s life on July 13 as “Faith and Defiance Day” to honor Trump, and those who were killed and injured at the political rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Rulli says he was inspired when Trump stood up after a bullet grazed his ear, with his fist raised, “telling us...

Pennsylvania emergency call system is experiencing periodic disruptions on Friday because of problems with the state’s 911 connection vendor, according to the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA). The issue was first noticed around 2 p.m. by the state’s Next Generation 911 provider, PEMA director Randy Padfield said at a Friday news conference. “The system continues to have some intermittent connectivity issues at this point in time that they’re still trying to troubleshoot,” Padfield said, although as of recently “it seemed like a majority of the calls were being delivered.” If callers can’t connect to 911, PEMA advises them to bypass...

Former Vice President Kamala Harris faced backlash after sharing a July Fourth photo on social media that conveyed a bleak outlook for America's future—and appeared to crop out former President Joe Biden. Rather than celebrating America and its freedoms, Harris portrayed a bleak view of the country, claiming it is in a difficult place due to President Donald Trump’s leadership. “This Fourth of July, I am taking a moment to reflect. Things are hard right now. They are probably going to get worse before they get better,” Harris posted on X. “But I love our country — and when you...

The White House is looking into possible criminal charges against CNN after it published a report about an app allowing users to track Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity in their area. President Donald Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem discussed the matter with reporters at the grand opening of a Florida detention facility known as “Alligator Alcatraz.” A reporter brought up border czar Tom Homan’s assertion that CNN should be prosecuted for essentially promoting the app to its readers. “We're working with the Department of Justice to see if we can prosecute them for that, because what they're...

After a marathon vote-a-rama that lasted more than 24 hours, where both Republicans and Democrats submitted amendments to the One Big Beautiful Bill, the Senate voted 51-50 to pass the megabill after Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) had announced a deal had been reached earlier on Tuesday. Vice President JD Vance was there to break the tie on the bill's final passage and on amendments being voted on up until the last minute. All Democrats voted against the bill, as did Sens. Thom Tillis (R-NC), Rand Paul (R-KY), and Susan Collins (R-ME). Tillis made headlines over the weekend not...

Around 10,000 people gathered in and around the Lancaster County Convention Center on Saturday for the 17th annual Lancaster Pride Festival, the largest gathering in the festival’s history and the first to be attended by a Pennsylvania governor. Fifty-six years to the day since the Stonewall uprising in New York City renewed the gay rights movement in America and 10 years since the United States Supreme Court established marriage equality, Gov. Josh Shapiro joined local elected officials and festival organizers onstage to celebrate Lancaster’s LGBTQ+ community. A Republican lawmaker is demanding that Attorney General Pam Bondi direct the Department of Justice to launch an investigation into Democratic New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani— a socialist Muslim who wants government-run grocery stores and to shift the tax burden to homes in “whiter neighborhoods.” Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) urged Bondi to probe Mamdani and initiate denaturalization proceedings, claiming he made false statements during his citizenship application. The lawmaker accused Mamdani of joining a communist group at the same time he was filling out his U.S. citizenship forms in 2018. “At the same time, he's filling out these...

Gov. Josh Shapiro will be joining Pennsylvania’s LGBTQ community and their supporters at Lancaster Pride Festival on Saturday. His announcement came the same day the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that parents must be allowed a provision to opt out their children from class when course material conflicts with their religious beliefs. The suit over LGBTQ book characters was the latest in a series of legal actions, state and federal legislation, presidential executive orders and funding threats targeting the rights of LGBTQ people. In Pennsylvania the major hospitals that provide gender affirming care to trans people of all ages, abruptly dropped...

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) is back to angering progressives and far-left loons, making some not-so-flattering remarks about New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. Mamdani bested former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday, showing that the left isn’t willing to moderate or become less crazy. Instead, they’re doubling down on defund the police antics, pro-Hamas theatrics, and hardcore socialist programs, like government-run grocery stores. All the worst people are supporting this candidacy. I asked this New Yorker who she wants for mayor. -"I voted for Mamdani" -"He's a socialist, do you think socialisim can work?" -"No." 👍 pic.twitter.com/boyyPEYTDV...

The CASA ruling has been handed down, and rogue judges and unhinged liberals are hardest hit. While it doesn’t address the issue of birthright citizenship per se, it did strike down the national injunction power that district judges have been abusing since the outset of the second Trump presidency. SCOTUSblog set up the issue: Whether the Supreme Court should stay the district courts' nationwide preliminary injunctions on the Trump administration’s Jan. 20 executive order ending birthright citizenship except as to the individual plaintiffs and identified members of the organizational plaintiffs or states. And in a 6-3 ruling, the Court ruled:...

A federal grand jury in Brooklyn has added charges against Linda Sun and her husband, Chris Hu in a superseding indictment returned Wednesday. The new charges stem from Sun's alleged participation in a fraudulent scheme involving personal protective equipment (PPE) production during the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the scheme, Sun coordinated government contracts with vendors based on undisclosed personal connections. Sun and Hu received millions of dollars from these vendors as a result of successful government contracts during the pandemic. These financial kickbacks were not disclosed to the state. The charges filed against Sun on Wednesday include honest services...

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro talked about funding for sports arenas while attending the NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway on Sunday. He also made a lengthy statement regarding the U.S. military strikes on Iran ahead of the Great American Getaway 400. It read as follows: “Well, look, let me say, I’m the Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Austin Davis is the Lieutenant Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Our job every single day is to ensure the safety and well-being of the good people of Pennsylvania. So the first thing I want to say to the people of...
