In his latest appearance on Fox News, Sen. John Fetterman called New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani a “clown” for saying he might have Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrested if he comes to the city.
Fetterman, a staunch Israel supporter who appeared on “Hannity” Wednesday night, mocked Mamdani for threatening to order Netanyahu’s arrest on a warrant issued by the International Criminal Court but then backtracking earlier this week while admitting the city would not have the authority to do so.
“So, sit down. You know you’re a clown,” Fetterman said, directing his comments to Mamdani. “You’re just going to pander to the fringe and that’s part of your base, and I know you’re angry at Netanyahu because he killed a lot of people you admire.”
Mamdani, a democratic socialist and critic of Israel, had floated the prospect of arresting Netanyahu if he attends the United Nations General Assembly in New York City in September.
The mayor called Netanyahu a “war criminal” in reference to Israel’s military offensive in Gaza.
On Tuesday, though, Mamdani reversed course and acknowledged he did not have the authority to order Netanyahu’s arrest but urged the federal government to do so and reiterated the prime minister was not welcome in the city.
Fetterman quipped that was like him trying to ban Mamdani from Pennsylvania.
Mamdani, Fetterman said, does not criticize Iran for killing protesters and the United Nations is “intensely anti-Israel.”
After months spent criticizing former Maine Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner, who withdrew amid an accusation of rape, and bashing Democrats for supporting him, Fetterman was asked by host Sean Hannity if he would back Republican Susan Collins in the general election.
“No, I’m staying out of it,” replied Fetterman, who then criticized Democratic Michigan Senate primary candidate Mohamed El-Sayed and other progressive candidates for their anti-Israel views.
“They’re running on, just below the surface, Jew-hating,” said Fetterman.

If by clown Fetterman means a John Wayne Gacy kind of clown, I agree.
Good for Fetterman
Conservatives need to stop treating him like the fashionable woke modern muslim celebrity the leftist media make him out to be - and start mocking everything about him.
Calling someone a “clown” implies entertainment value. But the connotation “Clown” may also be a complete perversion of the original meaning, as in a “killer clown”, a not-so-entertaining expression of horrors and darkness that induce nightmares and present very real dangers.
Zohran the Great appears to fit the second description.
Some folks here think it’s all an act. Fetterman is saying these kinds of things just for some hidden political reason.
Maybe so. But that’s becoming less and less likely.
If it wasn’t for killer clowns, clowns would have no entertainment value at all.
The campus newspaper interviewed me. I said I vote for people, not parties.
Campbell became a Republican. Hopefully Fetterman will do the same.
Netanyahu is guarded by Shin Bet. Israel’s equivalent of our FBI and Secret Service. Not a group of gentlemen you want to mess with.
No real danger of Mr. Netanyahu being arrested for a variety of reasons.
Mamdani got his political mileage and now Fetterman gets his.

I would also think if Mamdani had Netanyahu arrested, Mamdani would end up on the Mossad’s shit list. And that’s a place I wouldn’t want to be.
If Mamdani has Netanyahu arrested Mamdani will give his last press conference.
Fetterman at some point will just join the GOP or go indie, you can tell
