Orthodox Christians celebrate the 40 days of Paschatide (in many jurisdictions) by eating any and all foods on every day of the week.

In the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, however, the normal Wednesday and Friday Fasts resume during Thomas Week (second week of Pascha).

Some jurisdictions—like the Greek—keep the doors of the Iconstatis open (and no curtain drawn across the Royal Gate) for the entire 40 days.
