Vice President Kamala Harris has reversed her position on spending hundreds of millions of dollars to build a wall along the southern border, Axios reported Tuesday. Harris is now in favor of building a wall after being attacked repeatedly by former President Donald Trump for presiding over an unprecedented surge in illegal immigration to the U.S. as the Biden administration’s unofficial “border czar,” according to Axios. Prior to her second run for the presidency, Harris had called the border wall “un-American,” a “stupid waste of money” and Trump’s “medieval vanity project.” Harris now backs the bipartisan border bill proposed in...

Axois is claiming that Vice President Kamala Harris supports former President Donald Trump’s border wall because she backs the Senate’s border bill that requires agency officials to spend border wall funds appropriated under Trump. An Axios headline makes the claim, “Harris flip-flops on building the border wall” even though the article includes no quotes or statements from Harris or her campaign. Her campaign pushed back, telling Axios: Harris advisers note that the bipartisan border proposal didn’t include any new money to continue building the wall. It just extended the timeline to spend funds that had been appropriated during Trump’s last...

Kamala Harris’s running mate, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), quipped during an interview with CNN last week that he will buy a “ladder factory” if former President Donald J. Trump is reelected and moves to complete the wall on the U.S. southern border. The Minnesota Democrat’s comment came as he was pushing back against Anderson Cooper’s observation that Harris’s radical campaign promises during the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primary could come back to haunt her.“ You know, he talks about this wall; I always say, let me know how high it is,” Walz sarcastically remarked. “If it’s twenty-five feet, then I’ll...

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate, is apparently fine with helping illegal aliens climb over the United States-Mexico border wall. During an interview on CNN, Walz appeared to refer to former President Donald Trump’s border wall. “He talks about this wall. I always say, ‘Let me know how high it is. If it’s 25 feet, then I’ll invest in a 30-foot ladder factory,'” Walz stated. The radical leftist governor continued: That’s not how you stop this. You stop this using electronics. You stop it using more border control agents. You stop it by...

WARSAW, Poland (AP) – Poland’s defense minister said Thursday his country is strengthening the metal barrier along its border with Belarus to deter illegal migration. “We are mending the barrier on the Polish-Belarusian border, we are strengthening this barrier,” Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said on private Radio Zet. “The spending on these purposes is the highest in (Poland´s) history.” Kosiniak-Kamysz said the increased presence of Polish and allied military forces in regions close to the border is also helping to tighten the eastern frontier of NATO and the European Union. That presence has been increased since Russia’s aggression in Ukraine in 2022.

Former President Donald Trump has vowed to take extreme actions to secure the U.S.-Mexico border if he wins November’s presidential election. And that promise is supported by a key voting bloc — Latinos. The most recent Axios-Ipsos Latino Poll shows that the percentage of Latinos who support erecting a border wall and deporting all undocumented immigrants has increased by at least 10 points since 2021. According to the research, even among those who might have connections to immigration, Trump’s calls for increased border security and possibly his anti-immigrant rhetoric are having an impact. The results also illuminate Republicans’ recent gains...

In a brazen demonstration of who controls the border, Mexican smugglers set up a make-shift ramp to drive a car over the southern border of the US in Arizona 'That's the international boundary on the Tohono O'odham reservation,' posted union vice president Art Del Cueto. 'Those extra things you see are ramps that the smugglers utilize to drive a car over the boundary and into the United States. The Native American nation is on record opposing the 30-foot high, steel wall that US officials say is a crucial layer in helping to stem the flow of migrants. In some places...

Rep. John Curtis (R-UT), who is running for Senate to replace retiring Sen. He was the mayor of Provo and considered himself a Democrat until 2006. During an online debate in 2017, he said, when running for Congress, that hopes to continue then-President Donald Trump’s agenda.

I swear, if you don't laugh once in a while in politics, you'll spend all day crying ... or screaming. And this story will make us do all three, and not in that particular order. The Biden administration desperately needs to get Israel to slow down and let Hamas off the hook in Gaza, because ... Dearborn, apparently. Benjamin Netanyahu and 82% of Israelis are telling Biden to pound sand, so Biden wants to look for some alternative for the IDF that doesn't involve the actual destruction of Hamas, at least not before the elections in November. Their latest idea?...

The Biden administration's plan to construct a floating pier in Gaza to deliver aid represents a significant logistical and humanitarian effort. Spearheaded by the U.S. military, in partnership with the private firm Fogbow, this initiative aims to deliver food equivalent to two million meals a day to Gaza. The undertaking is complex, requiring the assembly of a large floating dock and an 1,800-foot causeway to facilitate the transfer of supplies from cargo ships to the Gazan shore. This operation, while showcasing American ingenuity and commitment to humanitarian aid, occurs in a geopolitical context where Gaza is governed by Hamas, a...

The Monmouth University survey released Monday found 53% of respondents favor building a border barrier while 46% say they are opposed. By contrast, 60% of Americans told the same pollster in September 2017, months after former President Donald Trump took office, that they were opposed to a border wall and just 35% said they were in favor of construction. New sections of a border wall being built in California have an anti-climbing feature, according to reports. The top of the barrier erected at Friendship Park between San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico, has a "metal wing or wedge, or a comma on its side with the pointy end hanging over the Mexican side of the border like an awning," according to Fox 5. Pedro Rios, of the American Friends Service Committee, called the additions "techitos," or little rooftops. "It's an anti-climbing feature that's meant to stop people from scaling the border wall," Rios told the station. "It's the first of...
