(DHS Secretary) Mullin estimated that the primary border wall would be finished by early June 2027 during recent congressional testimony...
...The outlet (Axios) noted that the rate would need to rise to over 13 miles each week to achieve Mullin’s timeline.
Mullin gave his estimate during his June 2 testimony on DHS’s fiscal year 2027 budget before the House Homeland Security Committee. “On the border wall, first of all, we are on track to have the primary wall done — completed from the Pacific to the Gulf of America — this time next year. We will have all the contracts out by the end of this month. We are having great progress,” the secretary said...
...“CBP has plans to construct an additional ~700 miles of primary and ~610 miles of secondary wall... Furthermore, approximately 535 miles of detection technology, comprising a mixture of sensors and various towers, will be deployed, leveraging areas with natural barriers provided by the terrain,” the spokesperson said...
...The agency (CBP) said it expected 250 miles of new barriers (Primary, Secondary and Waterborne) to be finished by Sept. 30, 2026, suggesting the Trump administration intends to ramp up the rate of construction. Additionally, the agency placed an $11.4 billion funding contract for a smart wall, with all remaining contracts set to be awarded to contractors by June 30, 2026...
...Mullin also distinguished between the primary and secondary border walls in his June 2 congressional testimony...
...Besides the (Primary and) secondary border wall, a smart wall will be constructed, according to the secretary...
...“The secondary wall — we feel like if we can continue to have the progress we have and the partnerships we’re having, we will probably complete that in the summer of [2028]. All of it will be fully completed.

We are now nearing a rate of about a mile per day of new wall, and will need to exceed a rate of two miles per day to meet the Secretary's schedule estimate, to complete a bit under 700 miles of new Primary Barrier by this time next year (more than was built in President Trump's whole first term).
Based on the planning, funding and contracting status; this seems quite feasible. So far, they are running ahead of schedule, and with all of the contracts awarded, the pace of construction will naturally surge as the new contractors begin work.
The Primary Barrier that the Secretary reported on, is overwhelmingly 30 foot tall bollard barrier with patrol road, which has proven to be a very effective design.
With the entire Primary Barrier in place next Summer, non-cartel crossings will be extremely physically difficult, and even the well equipped cartels will be channelized strongly.
I appreciate your Beautiful Wall update reports.
So what is the actual mileage of border wall currently?
Once it’s up the Joe Biden’s of the world can’t take it down.
Thanks, I appreciate President Trump’s Big Beautiful Border Wall Program.
It is so nice to see Government planning and executing with excellence - ahead of schedule, under budget, achieving its intended effects. Restores some faith.

This Presidential term so far, about 100 miles of new bollard barrier has been erected (about 80 miles of that is Primary).
But the Program really didn’t start until after the Big Beautiful Bill was passed to fund it, and even then it was still months until the money was on hand to start spending. Then there is a multi-month bidding competition on each of the many contracts, which can’t all be done at the same time.
But now all that administrative lead time is complete, with all the money on hand, and all the contracts awarded (come Monday). We are off to the races, with all the contractors loosed to perform, and financially incentivized for timely delivery.
There is generally a few months of start up for contractors after they are awarded a contract, before they start work, and before they hit full speed (hiring, training, sub-contracting for supplies and equipment, staging materials, building man camps in rural areas, etc.).
There has been a big dump of contract awards in these last months, and they are going to ramp up the rate of construction significantly through the Summer. I believe that we are expected to reach a mile per day next month (July), and two miles per day before the end of the year.
Existing Primary Wall (prior to 1/20/2025 that met U.S. Border Patrol operational requirements): ~644 miles Primary Wall & ~75 miles of Secondary Wall
Thank you for the link.
More accurately, they can simply engage in a mass conspiracy of neglect. That is what this image is:

This is the non-maintenance impulse of progressive politicians. They don't have to take down the wall, they just have to let it rust.
I think those floodgates are in the San Pedro River in Arizona (or perhaps one of the other rivers that cross the border in the Sonoran Desert area). During the Summer Monsoon season (July and August), the floodgates are opened (by design) to prevent debris from jamming the river.
That was built during the first Trump Administration, much taller and stronger than before, with new hard top access road for Border patrol rapid response, with stadium style lighting on the gates, and fixed cameras installed to allow monitoring from Border patrol command centers (with unblinking AI software watching those camera feeds as well).
You forget too soon:
“They (a Democrat Administration) can simply engage in a mass conspiracy of neglect.”
Some of the floodgates along the border were actually welded into an open door position during the Biden Administration, and left wide open all year long. That was clearly deliberate sabotage of border control.
Yes, there is some of the monsooning.
However they were also in disrepair. On purpose.
Why can’t they? I’d be it’ll be one of the first things they go after.
Good information. Thank you.

Of course it was. That’s all democrats are good for. Sabotaging the US.
