HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -- As of Monday, it is no longer illegal in Hawaii to carry a dangerous weapon in public -- and switchblade and butterfly knives are no longer banned. The Russian air force lost another Sukhoi Su-34 fighter-bomber on Thursday, the Ukrainian air force claimed. If confirmed, the Thursday shoot-down would extend an unprecedented hot streak for Ukrainian air-defenses. The Ukrainian claim they’ve shot down 11 Russian planes in 11 days: eight Su-34s, two Sukhoi Su-35 fighters and a rare Beriev A-50 radar plane. But those 11 claimed losses are worse than they might seem for the increasingly stressed Russian air force. In theory, the air arm has plenty more planes. In practice, the service is dangerously close to collapse.

BRATTLEBORO — The crime began and ended Monday. The court arraignment concluded Tuesday. But for residents shocked by this week’s violent death of a local social worker, questions linger. “There’s a wish we have when the unthinkable and tragic happens like this — to find a simple answer,” said Kurt White, vice president of outpatient programs at the state’s largest psychiatric hospital, the Brattleboro Retreat. “But this is not really that kind of thing. These are complicated and complex problems, and there are not simple answers.” And so, many southeastern Vermonters are struggling to process the death of Leah Rosin-Pritchard,...

Far-left miscreant Thomas Alexander Starks, 31, of Lisbon, North Dakota, pleaded guilty to destruction of government property last April. Starks brought an ax to Sen. John Hoeven’s office in Fargo on December 21, 2020, and smashed an intercom and glass door. The attack was captured on video. Federal guidelines suggested Starks should spend 10–16 months in the hoosegow, but because he is a protected member of Antifa, he was sentenced to mere probation and ordered to pay $2,784 in restitution. Keep in mind that there are people still in solitary confinement for taking non-violent selfies in the Capitol on January...

With massive Axe Body Spray tanks strapped to their backs, the brave police charged into occupied territory and hit them with a full blast of the stuff. Early Tuesday morning–sometime between 7:30 and 8 o’clock–Physics Professor Massoud Ali-Mohammadi was killed in an explosion while in his automobile leaving for Tehran University. The explosion came from a motorcycle rigged with explosives, that had been parked in front of his house for three days. It was detonated by remote control. Despite a torrent of disinformation from the regime, Ali-Mohammadi was not involved in the secret nuclear weapons project, and–again contrary to the regime’s lies–he was certainly not a regime loyalist. Indeed, he was among many university professors who supported Green leader Mir Hossein Mousavi during last spring’s heated electoral...
