While news reports have focused on the Middle East for most of 2026, the war in Ukraine has intensified and its potential for continental spillover increased. Also, there is evidence suggesting the globalists are fomenting escalation. Writers for the Council on Foreign Relations say that America should prepare to join Central and Western Europe in an eventual war against Russia. A Russian spokesperson recently appeared on a popular American podcast saying that, at this rate, the conflict is indeed heading toward another world war.State-controlled Russian media reported on Friday that a Ukrainian drone attack killed five Russian civilians and injured...

Philosophy, government, law, and theology were all subjects she enjoyed and would serve as the foundation for her values and passions. Concerning women’s education, she is known for writing, “If we mean to have Hero Statesmen and Philosophers, we should have learned women.” She strongly opposed slavery and there are several letters to her husband on the subject. She wrote, “I wish...

Too good to be true? On July 4, 1826, the very day on which America celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of Independence, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both died. While this fact - dramatic enough - is beyond dispute, the ninety-year-old Adams's last words as they have come down to us,"Jefferson survives," seem a bit too perfectly constructed. Yet no historian ever questioned them. ... Further investigation turned up the one and only person known to have been present when Adams last spoke: Louisa Smith, the never-married, fifty-three-year-old niece and adopted daughter of Abigail Adams. Smith at some point told the...

Michael Bon, 33, is facing charges of homicide by vehicle and related offenses in connection with Pahira’s death. According to the Department of Homeland Security, Bon is in the U.S. illegally from Haiti and holds a commercial driver’s license from Massachusetts. In 2025, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services issued Bon a notice of termination of parole,...

Cyborg cockroaches have actually been a thing for a while - with researchers attaching electrodes to the brain and sensory organs, enabling them to direct the insects like a remote-controlled car. Now, though, scientists at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore have taken things one step further by creating a cybernetic diving suit that can enable a cockroach to breath underwater. A 3D-printed 'backpack' attached to the insect contains a chemical oxygen generator and pumps the breathable air through special tubes. Experiments showed that the system provided enough of an oxygen supply for the insect to survive and swim around underwater...

Mourners thronged a vast prayer complex in Tehran on Saturday as the week-long funeral ceremonies of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei began with the national anthem, religious eulogies and readings from the Koran. Iran is staging mass funeral processions for Khamenei – whose 37-year reign was brought to an end in February by the first airstrike of the war launched by the US and Israel – in a show of public devotion to the Islamic Republic's theocratic state and revolutionary zeal. Television footage showed his coffin draped with the Iranian flag and topped with his black turban. It was...

DAD, WHAT's UNABHÄNGIGKEITSTAG?"Is that when the thirteen colonies broke away from England?" My ten year inquired out of nowhere at 6 AM German time this morning. "Yeah, why do you want to know, eat your breakfast," I mumbled, too sleepy to be very curious. "Because I am afraid my teacher will ask me, since I am wearing this T-shirt and I'm the only American in the class." With an effort, I adjusted my gaze upward to his white T-shirt. It was brand new. Prominent on his breast was an image of the flag and below that:OLD NAVYFREEDOM 2005 TRADITIONWaking up...

Independence was not guaranteed. Two-hundred-fifty years ago, the Second Continental Congress lit the fuse for human freedom by declaring the United States of America independent from Great Britain. Although we Americans celebrate the Fourth of July as our nation’s birthday, our country did not have an easy birth. In July 1776, the men who became known as our “Founding Fathers” had many problems. First among them was the reality that not everyone believed the United Colonies of North America (as they were then called) should sever ties with the Crown. During the First Continental Congress, convened in Philadelphia for fewer...

The Catholic Diocese of Brownsville is working to gather information on Sunday’s arrest of a nun as she was walking to church in McAllen, calling circumstances behind the actions by federal immigration agents “wildly disturbing.” U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials detained Sister Leticia “Letty” Ugboaja, a 56-year-old nun from Nigeria, and released her later Sunday after South Texas members of Congress intervened. “There are many questions remaining about the circumstances surrounding Sister Letty’s arrest and detention,” Bishop Daniel E. Flores said in a statement. “For now, it is clear that Homeland Security enforcement protocols that make it possible for...

Elon Musk on Friday slammed New York City’s Communist mayor, Zohran Mamdani, following his disgusting Independence Day address on Friday morning. As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, Mamdani gave an address on Friday morning, preceding President Trump’s address to the nation from Mount Rushmore, during which the immigrant mayor surrounded himself with foreigners and lectured Americans on how bad our country is. America, he said, “is an arena of supremacy where only a select few are allowed freedom, where not all are created equal.” “How small they are, how weak, how unoriginal,” he said of American citizens who value our...
