The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that the Trump administration can turn away migrants who show up at the US-Mexico border before they apply for asylum, in a victory for the White House’s immigration crackdown that prompted a tense exchange between two justices. The high court ruled 6-3 in favor of a policy known as “metering,” in use during President Trump’s first term as well as Barack Obama’s administration, which capped the number of people who could apply for asylum each day. Immigration advocates had claimed that aliens should be considered to “arrive” in the US once they reached the border...

A Florida woman was just let off by a judge after pleading insanity. Her crime? Drowning her 15-month-old toddler and stabbing her husband and teenage daughter when they tried to stop her. Yes, it's apparently legal to drown your toddler if you're stressed due to Covid?? Big news for Casey Anthony wannabes out there! I think "waiving" a jury trial may have worked in the defendant's favor this time around. But for judge de la O, it may have been a major misstep. "This was a bench trial. It’s time to impeach this judge. My office will be drafting articles...

In the fourth and final decision issued today, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Mullin v. Doe, a case concerning whether the Administration may terminate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designations. In a majority opinion authored by Justice Samuel Alito, the Court held that the challengers—TPS beneficiaries from Syria and Haiti—were not entitled to interim relief blocking the termination of their TPS designations. The Court concluded that the TPS statute limits judicial review of non-constitutional claims and prevents courts from second-guessing the agency’s TPS termination decisions on those grounds. Justice Thomas filed a concurring opinion. Justice Kagan filed a dissenting opinion,...

Who could have imagined that after centuries of despots, dictators, conquering armies, and ideological movements that swallowed entire nations, the new socialists would finally reveal who our real and final enemies are — “the billionaires.” When Mayor Mamdani declared that New York’s latest wave of left‑wing politics would “never forget the working citizen,” he left out the part he hopes no one notices: in celebrating this new vision, they’ve managed to forget the law‑abiding citizen entirely. Both working people and the unemployed can be law‑abiding — but that doesn’t seem to matter anymore. Today, you may rob, steal, rape, murder,...

Everyone is arguing about whether USAID was wasteful. Nobody is explaining what it was actually for.Yesterday the Daily Caller ran a piece noting that since Trump gutted USAID, right-wing candidates have swept Bolivia, Chile, Honduras, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia. The left hasn't won a single Latin American presidential election since the funding stopped. Meanwhile, Ro Khanna went on a podcast and said Elon Musk "possibly sentenced to death" 4.5 million children by dismantling USAID. Musk threatened to sue him. The right points to USAID grants for transgender operas in Colombia and DEI workshops in Serbia and asks why...

Private jets can now qualify as green investments under EU rules after the bloc's second-highest court overturned a decision to exclude them from its sustainable finance framework. On Wednesday, the EU General Court ruled that the manufacture of private jets cannot automatically be considered environmentally harmful and should not be barred from the EU's list of activities eligible for green investment. The case was brought by French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation, which challenged a 2023 European Commission regulation excluding private jets from the list of activities deemed environmentally sustainable. But judges have now found that the environmental impact of private...

Once we’re all done setting our hair on fire and wringing our hands about the latest crop of anti-American, Jew-hating, Communist revolutionaries who’ve just grabbed political power, let’s look at the upside. Hardly anybody voted for them. And they give Republicans a golden opportunity — if the party can get its act together, and if conservatives and sensible centrists can be persuaded to get off their couches and actually vote — and vote strategically. No more sitting on the fence.

Plans to hand established broadcasters and media companies greater prominence on digital platforms such as YouTube and TikTok have been unveiled, as ministers warned online misinformation risked becoming “existential for our democracy”. In proposals that set up a new clash with global tech companies, content from the likes of the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 would have to be awarded more promotion by their algorithms – with special rules considered for times of social unrest or crisis. It comes after a concerted campaign by the UK’s public service broadcasters (PSBs), who have also been arguing their content needs to be...

The Supreme Court on Thursday struck down a Hawaii gun restriction that limits when people can carry firearms on certain private properties open to the public, saying it infringes on the right to bear arms. On a 6-3 vote, the court invalidated the measure that requires people with concealed carry permits to seek permission from a property owner before entering. It has been dubbed the "vampire rule" because, as in the classic novel "Dracula" and related tales, vampires can only enter someone's home if they are invited in. The court, often supportive of gun rights, concluded that the provision violates...

Captain Greg Bello later elaborated, saying officers "arrived to bystanders comforting and performing medical aid to the victim, who sustained a laceration severe enough that it severed his hand from his body." This video, created by William Reports News, scrutinizes the financial history and political branding of Senator Bernie Sanders. The central argument is that while Sanders built his career on advocating for the working class and railing against the influence of the wealthy, his own family’s financial dealings—and those of his political network—contradict this narrative. Key areas of scrutiny discussed: Levi Sanders’ Nonprofit Compensation: The video highlights that Levi Sanders, the Senator's stepson, received approximately $800,000 in compensation from a progressive nonprofit organization (3:49 - 4:24, 12:24 - 12:53). The creator argues that this nonprofit operates within the same ecosystem of...

U.S. District Judge Evelyn Padin, hand-picked by Joe Biden, just tossed the Trump administration’s lawsuit against four Democrat-run New Jersey sanctuary cities, handing illegal alien criminals another layer of protection. Judge Evelyn Padin dismissed the Department of Justice’s case against Newark, Jersey City, Paterson, and Hoboken without reaching the merits. She ruled the federal lawsuit had a “fundamental flaw” because it challenged only the cities’ sanctuary policies and did not also target New Jersey’s statewide Immigrant Trust Directive, the NY Times reported. Padin wrote that the city policies “do not operate in isolation” from the state directive that already restricts...

After 250 Years, Our American Republic Is Coming ApartThe crisis we face today is existential. Too many Americans, both native-born and naturalized, have been taught to despise their country. If it sometimes seems like the American cultural mainstream is ignorant of the role of Christianity in the founding of the United States, or even hostile towards it, that’s because it is.The story told about America’s founding by the corporate media, book publishers, libraries and other institutions is one in which the Christian faith, so central to our history and founding, is almost wholly absent.I don’t mean that anecdotally. A recent report...

BOISE, Idaho — Micron’s rapid rise in market value is now hitting home for employees in the Treasure Valley, with some seeing enough gains to retire early or add thousands of dollars to their finances. ... One Boise-based financial planner said that kind of growth was historic for the Treasure Valley. "A lot of these Micron employees are just common people that we live next to, but underneath the surface, most of them are overnight millionaires," said JT Belnap of Treasure Valley Financial Planning Belnap said many people still do not realize how valuable Micron has become nationally. "I've talked...

India’s oil imports from Russia are on track to hit a new record in June, as refiners continue to rely heavily on discounted Russian crude after supply disruptions in West Asia caused by the regional conflict. According to preliminary vessel-tracking data from commodity analytics firm Kpler, India imported an average of 2.6 million barrels of Russian oil per day in June so far. That accounts for 53.5% of the country’s total crude imports during the period. For the full month, Russian imports are expected to exceed 2.35 million barrels per day, which would be the highest monthly level ever recorded....

Revolver has spent years exposing lawfare, unjust political prosecutions, like what the Biden regime did to Douglass Mackey, selective justice, and the weaponization of the courts against Americans who find themselves on the “wrong side” of politics. We don’t suddenly stop caring about due process because the defendants are on the left. If prosecutors twist the law, hide evidence, punish free speech, or use the justice system to settle political wars, we’ll happily call it out. But that’s not some free pass to take a violent, armed attack, take out every inconvenient fact, call an ambush a “protest,” and demand...

Yesterday was primary election day in New York. I previewed it in my prior post, “Socialism: On The March, Or Not So Much?” There were no Republican primaries in New York City, and very few statewide. This was almost entirely a day for intramural contests among the Democrats. It was the Far Left versus the Crazy Insane Left. In almost every race, Crazy Insane prevailed. The most important races involved federal congressional seats within the City — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. Mayor Zohran Mamdani and the Democratic Socialists of America had endorsed candidates in three of the races:...
