If U.S. President Donald Trump really wants to win the Nobel Peace Prize, he needs to stop the war in Gaza, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Tuesday. Speaking to France's BFM TV from New York, Macron said that only Trump has the power to put pressure on Israel to end the war. "There is one person who can do something about it, and that is the U.S. president. And the reason he can do more than us, is because we do not supply weapons that allow the war in Gaza to be waged. We do not supply equipment that...

A former youth pastor has been arrested on child pornography charges weeks after leaving his role at a church. Law enforcement officials allege that he possessed and shared illicit material involving minors. Nathan Wayne Walker, 50, was taken into custody in Harris County, Texas, on Wednesday and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, Fox 26 reported. Authorities said the arrest followed an investigation by the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which was initiated after receiving two cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in July. Walker previously served at Crossbridge...

President of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Executive Committee, Jeff Iorg, just gave Southern Baptists a masterclass in gaslighting. Standing before Southern Baptists, he literally wagged his finger at churches who refuse to hand over unrestricted Cooperative Program dollars and likened them to—brace yourself—children who think they can pick their own gender. That’s right. If your church dares to say, “We’re not funding the ERLC’s leftist lobbying,” Iorg believes you’re drinking from the same poisoned well as drag queen story hour. Reverend Howard-John Wesley received a minute-long standing ovation from his congregants yesterday, a week after his nasty anti-Charlie Kirk sermon went viral. We previously wrote about him after he used used Proverbs 30 to argue in FAVOR of LGBTQ relationships. Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Wesley, the senior pastor of the Alfred Street Baptist Church in Virginia, preached last week in a widely circulated message: “Charlie Kirk did not deserve to be assassinated, but I’m overwhelmed seeing the flags of the United States of America at half-staff, calling this nation to honor and venerate a man who was an...

While clearly a painful reality for some, “mental illness” has long been an abused concept. Cold War-era Marxist nations would sometimes declare dissenters mentally ill and then lock them away in asylums. (You’d have to be crazy to disagree with the state’s official ideology, right?) Media have also applied the mentally ill label tendentiously. When they don’t want a given act of terrorism called just that, for instance, they’ll deem the perp “mentally ill.” Of course, this is all self-serving. Such fudging is made easier, though, because it gets complicated. That is, how much of what we call mental illness...

Trade diplomacy at Windsor Castle. Before Donald Trump’s state visit to the United Kingdom, there was no shortage of speculation that something might go wrong. Perhaps demonstrators would cause disruption. Or there would be some diplomatic row. The dismissal of the British Ambassador to Washington, Lord Mandelson, just a few days earlier was hardly an encouraging portent. As it turned out, the visit was a triumph that reasserted the special relationship. There was plenty of pomp and splendor, of course. Nothing wrong with that. Having the magnificent spectacle broadcast around the world did no harm at all to Trump or his...

Having suppressed all dissent, Venezuela's ruling Chavistas aren't very cognizant of how they look to others. So when Venezuela's dictator, Nicolas Maduro, posted this video of his militias training up hard with their Russia-made weapons for the invasion of the yanqui imperialistas, his video was seen by millions, including President Trump, but probably didn't draw the reaction he expected. Trump actually did a re-tweet with this response:OMG President Trump just posted this on Truth Social. 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/FdbCtdP3SF — Steve 🇺🇸 (@SteveLovesAmmo) September 22, 2025I can't post the original Maduro video tweet on X, which is above, because the dictator blocked me.TOP...

President Donald Trump’s two recent executive orders, one imposing a $100,000 annual fee on H-1B visas and the other launching the “Gold Card” fast-track residency program, represent the most significant immigration reforms in decades. Image by ChatGPTThey flip the incentive structure that has for years favored multinational corporations and global outsourcing firms over American workers, while also tackling long-ignored national security risks. As a policy, open borders is one area where Democrats and many Republicans agree. Tom Homan was investigated for accepting $50,000 from undercover FBI agents. Trump's DOJ shut it down. In the summer of 2024 – as the Presidential election was nearing – the FBI, along with the DOJ’s Public Integrity section and the US Attorney’s office for the Western District of Texas, launched a federal investigation into Tom Homan “based on evidence of payment from FBI undercover agents in exchange for facilitating future contracts relating to border enforcement.” It is alleged that on September 20, 2024, hidden cameras captured Homan accepting $50,000 in cash from undercover FBI agents posing as business executives to...

A young Republican activist was blocked from a church in Philadelphia by woke activists who formed a human wall to keep him out, according to video footage. Frank Scales, 22, founder of Surge Philly, shared footage showed a group of activists barring his entry to a town hall with woke Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner last Thursday night at the historic Mother Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Society Hill. “You’re not coming in. You’re not coming in. Simple as that. You’re not coming into our sacred spaces,” a man outside the 19th-century church holding a bullhorn tells Scales, in...

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Ukraine could restore its borders from before Russia’s invasion and that he believes NATO member countries should shoot down Russian aircraft if they enter their airspace, escalating his rhetoric against the Kremlin as its war in Ukraine drags on. Taken together, Trump’s remarks on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly about shooting down Russian aircraft and his later post on Truth Social about Ukraine’s borders seemed to reflect a significant shift in his attitude toward Moscow and what the end of the intractable conflict might look like. His comments on Ukraine’s borders...

North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un suggested his country can resume dialogue with the U.S. if Washington drops calls for Pyongyang to denuclearize, state media reported Monday morning local time. "If the United States shuts down its hollow denuclearization ideology and wants a true peaceful coexistence with us based on acceptance of reality, then we have no reason not to [sit down with] the United States," Kim said during his parliamentary speech, according to the post.

New Mexico’s National Guard Adjutant General announced Monday that Guardsmen will soon be deployed to Española, a town of roughly 10,000 people in northern New Mexico whose leaders recently asked for state help dealing with a crime, drug and housing crisis. Española will be the second New Mexico city to receive National Guard troops this year. Albuquerque, the state’s biggest city, has seen a monthslong troop deployment in support of the Albuquerque Police Department. Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham authorized the deployments to both cities in emergency orders that cite rising crime and short-staffed law enforcement agencies. The governor’s Aug. 13...

For more than a decade, many NATO countries have prioritized welfare expansion over defense procurement, a miscalculation that directly contributed to Europe’s current security crisis. Russia’s 2014 annexation of Crimea should have been a wake-up call; instead, it was met with half-measures and delayed commitments from key allies. Russia’s 2022 full-scale invasion of Ukraine shattered any remaining illusions about European security. NATO’s collective security is only as strong as each member’s willingness to invest in it. The issue is not whether key Allied spending should rise; it must rise, not as a future aspiration, but as a correction for years...

In the spring of 1968 I was a college senior about to graduate. It was a troubled but hopeful moment to be coming into adulthood. The civil rights movement and the peace movement were converging in the nonviolent fight for racial justice and to end the Vietnam War. Martin Luther King Jr. was the most charismatic leader on both fronts, the poetic prose of his speeches soaring with critical idealism, his pacifism increasingly militant as he made the connections between domestic deprivation and foreign intervention. On April 4 King was murdered in Memphis. It was a brutal blow to the...

An escalator malfunction and frozen teleprompter disrupted President Trump’s marquee address to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, prompting him to improvise. The escalator carrying Trump en route to deliver his remarks had abruptly stalled shortly after the president set foot on it, forcing him to walk up it. Then, after making his way to the podium, Trump revealed his teleprompter wasn’t working. “I don’t mind making this speech without a teleprompter, because the teleprompter is not working,” Trump began, looking a little irked, drawing laughter. “I feel very happy to be up here with you, nevertheless — and...
