Here’s what you’ll learn when you read this story: * Fossilized footprints in Saudi Arabia show human traffic on the cusp of a subsequent ice age. * Like carbon dating, scientists use isotopes and context clues to calculate the approximate age of fossils. * These human prints were surrounded by animals but not hunted animals, indicating humans were just thirsty. ======================================================================== A uniquely preserved prehistoric mudhole could hold the oldest-ever human footprints on the Arabian Peninsula, scientists say. While on a 6 mile walk between villages in the Cotswolds, England today, I spotted this sign on a back street in Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire, England. ”Christadelphians”? What in the world? So I looked it up when we got back to our cottage and this is what I learned. Christadelphians: Historical and Current ContextOrigins and BeliefsThe Christadelphians, a non-Trinitarian Christian denomination, were founded in the mid-19th century by John Thomas, a British doctor who emigrated to the United States. The name means "brothers and sisters in Christ," derived from Greek. They base their beliefs solely on the Bible, rejecting the Trinity...

Cardinal Cupich, an Expert on "Dead Faith"Who would you want writing about "Dead Faith" more than an expert on dead faith, dying parishes, and general societal decay? That is why we know we can fully trust the Archbishop of Chicago, Cardinal Cupich (once referred to by a friend as 'Ugly on the outside, uglier on the inside'), to speak about the "dead faith" of Traditionalism. It's hilarious that he starts his piece by quoting Pelikan, a known revert to devout Eastern Orthodoxy, who would have no good words for the destruction of the ancient rites of the Church. Latin Traditionalism, whatever...

Portugal and other parts of Europe have been at the centre of one of the continent's worst wildfire seasons since records began in 2006, which has also turned into a breeding ground for misinformation. A post appeared on Instagram in August, alleging that immigrants receive €910 in benefits, compared to volunteer firefighters, who the user alleged receive no stipends. The account that published the picture is a self-professed supporter of the far-right Chega party and has more than 16,000 followers. The post has received 10,000 likes and has prompted other similar posts elsewhere on social media. For example, Chega MP...

A dozen federal judges across the political spectrum have spoken out against the Supreme Court’s handling of cases involving President Trump amid intense public scrutiny of lower court rulings. The 12 judges spoke to NBC News on condition that they not be identified out of fear of retaliation, so it’s unclear who they are or where they located. NBC reported the slate includes judges “appointed by Democratic and Republican presidents, including Trump, and serving around the country.” They pushed back on what they described as a pattern of emergency rulings from the conservative-leaning high court in response to lower court...

A federal jury ordered Google to pay $425.7 million for invading users' privacy by collecting data over an eight-year period on millions of people who had turned off a tracking feature in their Google account. The verdict on Wednesday in San Francisco comes after a trial in a class-action case applying to roughly 98 million users in the U.S. between July 1, 2016, and Sept. 23, 2024. The jury found that the company had been spying on users in violation of California privacy laws. Google denied that it was improperly accessing devices to collect, save, and use data of people...

A man fishing in waters off the coast of Costa Rica reeled in an unusual catch -- the first documented orange shark. The new internal memos from the Biden White House are the first glimpse into the Trump administration’s probe into the former president’s mental decline and the abundant use of his autopen signature. Internal memos obtained by Just the News show President Joe Biden’s aides believed at the beginning of his administration that he had an obligation to personally sign official presidential actions, including pardons, and chronicle how the former president later outsourced clemency decisions to then-Vice President Kamala Harris. The memos were gathered as part of a sweeping review by the Trump White House into Biden's use of autopen signatures...

Following the meeting, which was attended by Zelensky, the Petit Napoleon Macron, pushing to conquer Russia, said that 26 countries – including the UK and France – have pledged to deploy troops in Ukraine as a “reassurance force” in the event of a ceasefire. They know what they are doing. This is the prelude to a false flag to realize their dream to finally conquer Russia, grab the $75 trillion in assets, and refund the European Union, which cannot last much beyond 2028. The two countries that may need an IMF bailout are France and Britain. It’s no surprise that...

Andrew Bates, a former senior deputy press secretary for President Biden, slammed the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee investigating his former boss on Friday in an opening statement he made to the panel. Bates is on Capitol Hill as one of multiple former Biden aides who have gone in-person before the panel for the committee’s investigation into Biden’s mental acuity and use of an autopen. He appeared voluntarily. The former White House official lambasted President Trump in his statement to the GOP-led panel. He said lawmakers were wasting taxpayer money to investigate Biden but turn a blind eye to...

After imposing steep tariffs on Indian goods, the US seems to be exploring a new front: potential tariffs on IT services, foreign remote workers, and outsourced business processes. Coupled with proposals to overhaul the H-1B visa system, and an increased levy on remittances made by Green Card holders and temporary visa workers, the move points to a broader strategy that could constrain India's most significant export engine: its human resources, including its engineers, coders, and students who sustain both Silicon Valley and the ITES boom in the US. The debate gained traction when conservative commentator Jack Posobiec posted on X...

Global sea levels have not continued to rise at the rates predicted by many scientists — and there is no evidence that climate change has contributed to any such acceleration, a new first-of-its-kind study has claimed. The research found that the average sea level rise in 2020 was only around 1.5mm per year, or 6 inches per century, according to the paper’s authors, Dutch engineering consultant Hessel Voortman and independent researcher Rob de Vos. “This is significantly lower than the 3 to 4 mm/year often reported by climate scientists in scientific literature and the media,” Voortman told independent journalist Michael...
