According to the official bill overview (AB245 Reprint 1, adopted April 21, 2025), this legislation targets residents under the age of 21, making it illegal for them to possess, handle, or control semiautomatic shotguns and semiautomatic centerfire rifles. The bill passed along party lines with a 27–15 vote, signaling sharp political division over firearm rights in the state. At its heart, AB245 bans most adults under 21 from owning certain types of firearms, even though these individuals are recognized...

It appears that leftist billionaire George Soros’s Open Society Foundations was outright lying when it claimed it received no funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). OSF gaslighted the world over controversies surrounding USAID funding a number of leftist pet projects it was simultaneously financing. “The claims that the Open Society Foundations, founded by George Soros, receive funding from USAID or direct the funding of a multibillion-dollar U.S. government agency are manifestly false,” OSF exclaimed February 12. However, an investigation by MRC Business found that not only did an OSF node get a sizable committed grant from USAID,...

UPS will cut 20,000 jobs this year after breaking with its biggest customer Amazon. Deliveries for the e-commerce giant makes up around 12 percent of UPS's revenue, the company said. However, UPS said the profit margins for Amazon deliveries were too small and it wanted to refocus on more lucrative markets such as healthcare and international deliveries. The decision will also lead to the closure of 73 UPS buildings this year, the company said on Tuesday. UPS CEO...

Disrupter, firebrand, or provocateur – call him what you will – but in the first 100 days of his second and last term, President Donald Trump has shaken and stirred American progressives to their core. Today (April 29), which marks the 100th day of his presidency, is cause for reflection. And unsurprisingly, satisfaction with his priorities, projects, and plans has fallen along party lines. Tariffs, immigration, and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) headline the start of Trump’s second...

[Excerpted] Hannah C. Dugan, of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, found out that ICE agents were in the courthouse to take Eduardo Flores-Ruiz into custody; after angrily confronting them, she allegedly ushered Flores-Ruiz into a non-public zone where the feds had been told they could not arrest Flores-Ruiz to help him escape capture. Luckily, Dugan’s shenanigans failed and the border-jumper, who did make it out of the courthouse, was grabbed by the feds as he made a break for it. Flores had already been deported once, in 2013, and jumped the border yet again later. In other words, he had...
