Judges are not above the law —even if they’re trying to protect illegal-immigrant thugs
New York Post ^ | April 28, 2025 | Post Editorial Board

[Excerpted]

Hannah C. Dugan, of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, found out that ICE agents were in the courthouse to take Eduardo Flores-Ruiz into custody; after angrily confronting them, she allegedly ushered Flores-Ruiz into a non-public zone where the feds had been told they could not arrest Flores-Ruiz to help him escape capture.

Luckily, Dugan’s shenanigans failed and the border-jumper, who did make it out of the courthouse, was grabbed by the feds as he made a break for it.

Flores had already been deported once, in 2013, and jumped the border yet again later.

In other words, he had no right to be here in the first place.

Yet Dugan appears to have been intent on protecting Flores and keeping him here — so intent that she betrayed her office, and her country.

What drove her? Resistance mania, perhaps: The left continues to object to anything President Donald Trump supports, particularly his deportations of violent illegal immigrants.

Even beyond that, Democrats have a clear record of sticking up for violent criminal illegal immigrants at the expense of law-abiding US citizens.

Yet here’s the problem: If a judge is willing to break the law to advance her political views, imagine how she must be tilting her judicial rulings.

And how much harm her mere arrest has done to public faith in the fairness of the justice system. (Ironically, a local liberal publication once considered Dugan for a “Most Trusted Public Official” award.)

This servant of injustice is now reportedly facing a sentence of up to 10 years behind bars.

If guilty, she should serve every last day of it. Or Americans will never be able to trust their judicial system again.

The “professional courtesy” between prosecutors and law-breaking judges needs to go away. The Demoncrats keep telling us that “no one is above the law.”

8 USC 1324 deals with illegal aliens. It is against the law to ‘encourage’ illegals aliens to stay, or provide benefits to them (think the entire DNC Committee).

“All rise!”
“The honorable ***** ****** now has the bench.”
“You may be seated”

We treat our judges like they are royalty!

It seems unamerican somehow.

These judges need to not only be reined in but prosecuted for treason:

Exactly. If you’re a judge and something is happening that you don’t like, you have every right to yell, scream, cuss, slobber at the mouth, and whatever else you want to do to express your opinion.

But if your form of protest includes committing crimes, expect some cuffs and an orange jumpsuit in your future.

At least, that’s how it ought to go. But you guys know as well as I do this is going to morph somehow into a slap on the wrist at most, and more likely just some stern finger-wagging.

The only people I know that are above the Law is the Clintons. Bill and Hillary. And they both know it. Both are too evil to die. They both will live forever ruining people’s lives.

Is there any more need for proof that the justice system is corrupted and that there likely are other “judges” who need to be arrested...and imprisoned?

Judges are not ABOVE THE LAW, EVER.

In fact, Judges, are not only officers of the court, and expected to behave at a much higher standard than the legal minimums... they are also often Attorneys themselves and members of the Bar, which has its own requirements and code fo conduct in addition to legal minimums.

Easiest response to these leftists if you run into them screaming about these judges being arrested is to simply respond, I would expect nothing less from a leftist, your last guy literally pardoned a judge who took bribes to send children to prison.

The left has absolutely no leg to stand on in this matter, but that doesn’t mean they won’t bloviate, but when you point out the absolutely disgusting behavior of Biden and his pardons, they don’t really have an answer. This judge was not only tried and convicted of literally taking bribes to send children, usually minority children, to prison, but then Democrats pardoned him....

So, counters there judges are above the law bs, and shows them how corrupt their side is on the matter

She engaged in multiple felonies in these actions, and she violated her duties as an officer of the court, and her oath of office, as well as the requirements as being a member of the bar (assuming she was)

She should be arrested, charged, impeached, and disbarred.

Yet another “judge” who belongs in a prison cell for the longer term. Was her law degree (assuming she has one) from a correspondence course? Does she understand that there is a Constitution? Individuals like this need to be constrained.
